Indian Premier League - General Discussion

35 run over? WOW! Serious tearing apart work from Pat Cummins! That too when playing his first game of this season. Reminded me of his batting against CSK last year when he almost won the game for KKR chasing a mammoth score of 220 (the game when Russell also tore the bowling, only to get bowled leaving a ball on leg stump from Sam Curran).

To all my MI bros - welcome to the bottom of the table club and joining CSK. Just saw a Karan-Arjun meme on Twitter to summarize the MI-CSK bonding "Yeh Bandhan Toh Pyaar Ka Bandhan Hai" (this bonding is pure love) :lol:p:D

Rahul batted in the powerplay. Cummins batted in death overs.
Cummins faced Sams

Let these guys have the cup for this year. Then we can again share the cup every alternate year till 2030.

Just magical from Cummins. Really overshadows his own poor bowling at the death. Might unironically turn out to be a better prospect with the bat than ball in the IPL if KKR continue to use him in the death overs. :D

Also wonder how and why Sams still plays when there's Fabian Allen waiting in the reserves. Surely this is the moment where they get him in? Full credit to SKY and Venky too, they played really patiently and did their best to set their sides up for a victory. Brevis also bringing his absolute A-Game to the IPL, no wonder he's so highly rated! Could be a scary prospect once he matures properly.

MI's investment in Brewis and Tilak Varma definitely will pay huge dividends soon. Both of them look amazing!

Could not follow a ball but that is my reaction! This is our era! Not to exaggerate but KKR and Delhi are the only team who look settled in terms of squad.

Great stuff and really proud!
