Indian Premier League - General Discussion

What a finish from Shashank. At least SRH have got a par score, where they otherwise would've ended up with 20 runs less without that late finish.

Fearsome tweakin GT.

That was some shockingly horrible bowling from Jansen! Nothing in the blockhole, to make it tough for either batters! Every ball looked easy enough to be dispatched over the ropes!

Even with their weak on paper batting order GT are still pulling off chases from vulnerable positions. Gotta give it to them for consistently coming in clutch when needed.

RR from season 1. I will maintain that they are a poor batting outfit!

Who is going to be Gujarat Titans' opponent, on May 29th? That's going to be the crucial question from now. :D

Shashank Singh, remember the name.
I was certain with those 3 sixes that SRH had enough in the bag.

It hurts, it physically hurts when you lose a sure shot win. The hero in the last game against RCB came a cropper today. It happens. But should have bowled better.

Sigh! I think that's it then.

Agreed, but that notion hardly seems to matter in the T20 circuit. GT's batting has mostly revolved around Hardik the whole season, all he needed was support acts which he found in Tewatia and Co. All it took was one main batsman and 1 or 2 support acts to make a good fist of a chase along with a very good bowling attack.

SRH themselves in past seasons had a questionable batting order. Warner was heavily depended on, with some support from others while having the best bowlers in their arsenal, and they were mostly successful.
