Indian Premier League - General Discussion

If I had a penny for every time there has been a last over finish in this IPL, I'd have a lot of pennies. What is the cause of so many exciting games happening at once? Could real pennies be involved?

Well I challenge you to play mpl opinion then.

I have made a decent amount of pennies in the last week of the IPL (lost few as well).

But believe me boy its hard very hard to predict the winner of the outcome things go from South to north very quickly.

For example yesterday I have given my opinion that Rajasthan will win the game after seeing GTs score after 13 overs and thought Rajasthan will chase it convincingly (also given the fact that GT are not very good defenders).

But after seeing 55-4 in around 10 overs the odds were reversed and I decided to pull all my money out as GT seemed most likely winner at the stage.

Well we all know how it panned out in the end.

I know, I was kidding :p It's just how crazy the games have been so far

Hardik as a batter has been in a decline for some time now.

Found this on Twitter.

The one thing I really hate is Hardik’s decline against spin. He used to be perhaps the best spin hitter in India and it’s what made him so valuable. In the end Hardik’s just turned into another standard Indian batter.

Right on target!

Lot of Indian batsmen have lost the ability to play spin well. In fact, this has been an on-going trend since the early 2000s. Saving grace being the fact that VVS, Dravid , Tendulkar and Ganguly were still around to save the blushes in Test cricket.
