People don't understand that at that point of time it was better to ensure that the team doesn't get bowled out for 80-90 and let the net run rate suffer even more. I don't think there was a need to show any bravado or something that we can chase 180-odd even after being 5 down for 30-odd. That would be infact a stupid thing to do.

Gujarat Titans have dominated this league thus far apart from losing to SRH. I feel even though SRH have got off to slow start but they might somehow be the team who can stop Gujarat from winning the title at a latter stage in the tournament.

My top 3 are Gujarat, Hyderabad & Rajasthan while there would be a close fightout between PBKS & RCB.

I thought the game was lost when Jadeja opened the floodgates in his 3rd over today. With two left handers batting together (Miller and Tewatia) and with Miller having gotten his eyes in, it was a huge risk by Jadeja to bowl himself, when he could've quickly given it to someone else and given matchups some respect! That over which Miller plundered off Jadeja, turned things around for him and made him very comfortable. And that Shivam Dube non-attempt of the catch was another blunder. Bravo was brilliant today, and he totally deserved that wicket. And then the meltdown of CSK batting when Rayudu got out! At that stage, CSK were plundering runs and were looking at 185-190. Alzarri didn't even bowl that great!

Very predictable from CSK and its getting annoying. When you have Mukesh and Theekshana to open bowling, why not play Pretorius who was excellent in his first 2 games? Pretorius and Bravo together would've probably won this easily for CSK! I've never liked Jadeja the bowler in the last 4 or so years of the IPL and he keeps vindicating me. Harsha Bhogle brought this up in commentary a few games ago, where he said Jadeja's bowling has fallen off the wayside and being a senior pro and now the captain, he just doesn't seem to have the ability to bring things back. He thrives only in certain 'matchups' (for e.g. Kohli, Maxwell, etc.).

The season has slipped for CSK. I guess they're trying to back Mukesh Chaudhary in the hope that he'll come good sometime (Mukesh and Ruturaj share a hometown; and that hometown is where CSK played today's game). Hope they're right about Mukesh Chaudhary.

He seems to be the only bowler that has been threatening in CSK's entire bowling unit. So keeping him out doesn't make sense.

One of the teams might get fifth spot and it seems to me that it is going to be KKR. Tbh, KKR really need to up their game, especially batting if they are to make it into the top 4.

LSG haven't looked that impressive as yet. They're being over dependent on Qdk and KLR getting them off to a good start. We saw in the game against RR how they crumble like anything if both of them get out.
