Of course Laxman should be blamed There is no way Symonds should have bowled that last over, Laxman should have picked the one of the frontline bowlers (Kalyankrishna or Ojha) even if their figures weren't crash hot, they were still better than Symonds'.

Laxman also made the silly blunder of having too many fielder outside of the inner circle, that cost them 2 runs and an extra ball. At times its hard to tell who's captain out there, Gilly and Symonds were doing a lot of organising as well. Laxman is also far from a 20/20 batsman. Gilly should be skipper for Deccan's next game.

Oh come on,Laxman's been really good as a captain right throughout.THe last over,well,even Symmo was shocked,he couldnt speak at the post match presentation. I think Symonds erred in his line and length.I was also expecting R Sharma to bowl a bit,maybe next match.

I have to say Laxman's captaincy was more than a little poor. The match was always going to be close and it was his responsibility to ensure that the final overs were handled by experienced guys instead of someone who'd already gone for 30 in an over previously.

Talking of Jadeja,I'd have liked to see the senior Ajay Jadeja play in the IPL.He would have captained Rajasthan Royals then.
