We did not pulled them. They came.Surely you know the difference between those two

But surly you should have the respect to leave the players alone who are already contracted!!
As soon as this IPL is over, the better!
So ignoring the team, and contacting the player directly without Involving the club isn't pulling??
I think you will find it is.
Hodge had a choice. He is where your blame/anger should be going, not the IPL.
IpL did not contacted the players. They contacted IPL.
Speaking on the situation Brad Hodge said: “I was approached only 24-48 hours ago and I’m still in shock at the opportunity that has been presented. Twenty20 is a format that I really enjoy and have a good record in, and to be part of the inaugural IPL tournament is something most cricketers would find hard to turn down.
I hope Albie plays, but unfortunately, I can't see him replacing anyone other than Oram, but he was Man of the Match last time, so I doubt that happening.
That's where I think you are wrong.
I am blaming Hodge, but also Directing some of it at the IPL, of being so obnoxious and approaching Hodge once the season had started over here, If they would have approached him before the season, Fair enough, but its just dam right rude after the season has started.
Wrong. And here is proof:

So stop trying to play innocent. Well? What have you got to say about that??
Having a contract does not mean that you are unapproachable by any means. Whenever you grow up and get a job you will find that you will be offered jobs by other companies even when you are in the middle of a contract. Most contracts have clauses that prevent them from being terminated without a certain notification period or for some financial remuneration, but it seems as if Hodge's contract wasn't terminated. But surly you should have the respect to leave the players alone who are already contracted!!
Even Lancashire agreed to it, man. His Lancs' contract was put on hold.
Would a player rather play in an inaugural tournament of the caliber of the IPL, where the best players in the world blend with the most talented Indian Cricketers then some one dimensional league in England?

Oram is leaving.
