Indian Premier League - General Discussion

When rcb had their top 5 as Gayle Kohli De villiers Rahul Watson they would have chased down this total, no doubt. Their bowling was weak but you could depend on them to chase down totals more than 200. This year they have weakened their batting significantly and still can't find a class bowling attack. No chance for the top 4 this year either

It's unbelievable that Grandhomme hasn't even got a match yet. He is a perfect allrounder and would slot into the No.6 spot easily. He makes an excellent finisher, and someone who regularly gets breakthroughs. Particularly dumb captaincy from Kohli. Just wasting talent that's there in his team instead he goes for the likes of someone who hasn't played a lot of cricket recently and just drafted in.

Exactly, every team has the ideal allrounder in their line up, except RCB, who think sarfaraz khan will score more than 10

List of impact allrounders for each team
KKR- Russell
RR - Stokes
MI - Pandya brothers
CSK- Watson and Bravo
KXIP - Stoinis
SRH - Shakib
DD - Morris

Nobody for RCB has really provided anything with both bat and ball. They need to do something soon

Somebody like moises henriques would have been a good pick up. Hard hitting right hander and can bowl a handy 3 over spell

It's just only me or Kohli literally played a poor innings?

Poor innings ? How ? He was playing aggressively till ABD and QDK was dismissed. After that, wickets were going off on the other end and there was no one to support him. There is no way we could have won the game. The only best thing he could have done is to play all 20 overs and try to reduce the NRR, which he did.

Kohli did play well. Only thing that resulted in the loss was failure of other batsmen. If you consider the runs scored by Rohit and tally that with Kohli, there was a knock of Evin Lewis which RCB batsmen couldn't showcase or reproduce. That was the margin which won MI the match.

The problem with the Rcb franchise is that even after ten years they don't understand it's the IPL!

Thats as easy as it comes. Well done KKR. Good victory this, complete performance an no failure

RR needs to do something about their bowling. Kulkarni and Unadkat in particular haven't lived up to his hype. The spinner Gowtham has looked like the only bowler capable of taking wickets. The difference today was KKR bowled better and looked threatening even though Narine had a bad day. Royals need to seriously need to have a hard look at their bowling department.

@zwarrior I have a new nickname for you, Unadkat.

You didn't see the PCPL S6 T20 CUP. Z, was exactly the same. Left arm Fast bowler, went for 55k $ , didn't perform :p
