Match 1
Delhi Daredevils v
Royal Challengers Bangalore
at Feroz Shah Kotla
Morkel's three puts Delhi back in the game
With just 118 on the board, Delhi Daredevils needed early wickets. Not one but a couple or more to put some sort of pressure on the opposition. Who other than Morne Morkel could do it? He was right on the money from the start and troubled the RCB openers. Uthappa eventually edged one to Rayudu as he tried to break the shackles and went for an ambitious drive. Morkel didn't let the RCB skipper, Gambhir settle as well. Consistently bowling short stuff to Gambhir was the plan it seemed. It worked as Gautam tried to run one down to the third man but, ended up edging it to the keeper. How often have you seen him do that and get out?
With the visitors in trouble at 8 for 2, it was 'The Wall' Rahul Dravid and youngster Pujara who had to rebuild the innings. Dravid was his usual self hitting the lose deliveries and playing each on it's merit. Pujara was the aggressor of the two. He hit Morkel for a couple of 4s before he was caught by Rahane, a stunning catch which gave Morkel his 3rd wicket.
Ajinkya Rahane takes a fantastic catch running in to dismiss Pujara for 16.

While Dravid was playing a steady innings on one end, the guys at the other end kept losing their wickets. JP Duminy was bowled by the leg spinner Rahul Sharma as he was late on getting his bat down on time for a quicker one. Abdul Razzaq came in at number 6 as RCB were in a spot of bother at 51 for 4 after 10 overs.
We have the final news on Balaji and Narine. Balaji will have to miss the next game for RCB because of an injury. Sunil Narine is unwell at the moment but, no major issues with him.
Rahul Dravid is there while Razzaq has just come in. Will these two take the visitors home or will Delhi Daredevils pull off an amazing victory? Or, will something else happen? Stay tuned for more..
