Really Indians worked very hard to get Gayle out!!! After that Chanderpaul joins Lara!!! Lara is very clear with the strategies and expalined to his partner!!! After that, Its been a very tough time for Indians with the ball!!! The pitch's behaviour is completely unpredictable.... Its suddenly bouncing well in one session and no swing at all in other session!!! So Indians are finding it difficult to bowl in correct spots!!!
LARA HAVING A NICE TIME WITH THE BAT...
The bad lines are punished for sure by Lara!!! Kumble found it hard to bowl accurately!!! He was smashed for 20 runs in 5 overs which is bit a unusual Kumble especially in tests!!!!
Dravid immediately replaced Kumble with Sreesanth!!! He bowled some quick bouncers but that did not do any damage to the batsmen. Then Munaf at the other end looked tired with his long spell... He was replaced by Pathan!!! Dravid is experimenting with the bowlers. The first over of Pathan was amazing maiden over.
Chanderpaul was almost gone in Pathan's over.. This is what happened in Pathan's over to Chanderpaul,
CHANDERPAUL's NARROW ESCAPE...
Pathan almost got a wicket but unfortunately it didnt happen. Pathan was bit disappointed!!!
Then Pathan and Sreesanth bowled remaining part of the overs till Tea!!! Both Lara and Chanderpaul looked solid and took Windies to Tea session without loosing further wickets!!! Windies are in good position but Indians are quite contented becos they took two important wickets in this session!!! But still lot of work to do for Indians!!!
A real wonder is Dravid still did not bring Agarkar into attack... Its been questioning all the fans in the arena....Dravid must have some strategy behind it!!! well Windies went to TEA with their score 109 on the board!!! WI : 109/2 (TEA)
Lara -- 46*
R.S : Gud afternoon Sunil, what do u think of this session?
S.G : Gud afternoon Ravi, well, this match is still going in a balanced way!!!
R.S : Windies lost two crucial wickets, dont u think that Indians have upper hand marginally?
S.G : But Lara is on fire...As long as Lara stays at the crease its always the danger alarm for the bowlers!!! We have already seen the similar type when Sachin was batting!!! So Indians have to get Lara out to be in safe position.
R.S : Also, Dravid still yet to introduce Agarkar..wht do u think the reason might be?
S.G : Well, there might not be any specific reason... He brought Kumble as he is a great test bowler!!! Also Sreesanth and Munaf were bowling in a good line and length!!! But its sure,Dravid will bring Agarkar, infact he has to, due to the current strong position of Windies!!!
R.S : With Five specialist bowlers, India is still struggling... What do u think abt that?
S.G : All the five bowlers are in good form...no doubt in that... may be the things are not going right becos of the nature of pitch!!! we observed that in this session there was no sharp swing for fast bowlers and turn for Kumble...
R.S : How do u predict after TEA
S.G : Thats tough to say  As i told already, Lara is the main target for Indians!!!
R.S : Ok Sunil, thanx for ur thoughts on this match.
S.G : welcum Ravi
R.S : So the interesting last session coming up LIVE only on STARSPORTS shortly.... Can Lara do what Sachin did for India...We can find out all at the end of Day's play...We will get back to u for detailed analysis at end of the day in FOURTH UMPIRE!!! Till then enjoy the match.... Gud Bye :happy
The tea break ends and players are coming out of the dressing room following the two umpires!!! Its a great evening here with a good cricket atmosphere!!! The non stop music is being played through out the day... This shows how the crowd enjoys cricket here.... Now comes Lara and Chanderpaul with lot of determination!!!!
AFTER TEA SESSION TO START...
Lara is the main target now for Dravid. He sets the field accordingly!!! Sachin is also involved in discussion during the field setting!!! Dhoni encourages all the players from behind the stumps!!! So there is lot of determination found in Indian faces too...
This last session is going to be an important session for both the teams!!! In Windies point of view, Lara should stay and in Indian's point of view, Lara should go.... This contest is going to be interesting!!! All the thrills just coming up in a moment....
Soon after the tea break, Windies continued their form from where they had left!!! Indian bowlers are finding it very difficult!!!
Lara was on 47!!! Pathan was the bowler. As soon as he bolwed his first delivery, Lara pulled it off for the boundary and thus reaching fifty in style!!! Pathan was disappointed a bit, becos he was smashed by Lara!!!!
So now, Lara seems to be a settled one!!! If Lara is going to continue the same form now, then Indians are sure to be in trouble!!! Infact both these batsmen are well settled!!! WI : 121/2
Lara -- 51*
Chanderpaul -- 18*
The question of Dravid not bringing Agarkar really made everyone to think...But Dravid brought Agarkar in right moment and the things have worked in favour of India!!!
As soon as Lara, reached his fifty, there was a long discussion between Dravid,Sehwag,Pathan and Agarkar!!! As a result of the discussion, Dravid gave the ball to Agarkar and asked hin to go ahead!!! Agarkar taking the ball in his hands for the first time in this test and marks his runnerup. He made some fielding changes according to his line.
AGARKAR's TRICKY BOUNCER DISMISSED LARA...
The first ball of Agarkar was amazing... He pitched in the middle and moved away from Lara!!! Lara was decieved!!! "First impression is the best impression..." This was proved in Agarkar's first over!!! The second ball hit the helmet of Lara!!! The next two deliveries went to the keeper!!! So all the four deliveries were excellent!!!
The fifth delivery produced the dream wicket!!!! Agarkar just pitched it short and with medium pace... Lara went on to the shot a bit late...This made the ball to strike the bottom edge of the bat... and it made its way to stumps... The ball just managed to take the bails off.... Lara was disappointed for his mistake!!! Agarkar striked in very first over!!!
LARA ON HIS WAY BACK TO DRESSING ROOM....
Entire Team started celebrating this wicket!!! This was a big important wicket...Indian fans in the arena jumped form their seats and were excited very much....Even the coach was excited in the dressing room!!! Dravid was relieved now and also did a fantastic job of keeping Agarkar in reserve and utilising him at the correct time.
LOTS OF REPONSIBILITY ON SARWAN AND CHANDERPAUL!!!
Lara returned to the pavilion for his well made 51!!! He was the only batsman who threatened the bowlers very much!!! But this wicket must have a relieved a huge pressure on India!!! But the pressure on Windies have increased especially on Chanderpaul and Sarwan!!!
CHANDERPAUL AND SARWAN TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY...
Sarwan joined Chanderpaul in the middle. Agarkar finished his final delivery with a dot ball... So this has been an excellent wicket maiden for Agarkar. Great start for Agarkar!!!
Still lot of work to do for both the teams!!! The game has just shifted a bit towards India. It is going to be interesting how Chanderpaul and Sarwan tries to bring the balance back!!! Both the coaches are even more tensed in the dressing room!!!
DOUBLE TROUBLE FOR WINDIES--- SARWAN JOINS LARA!!!
After Lara returns to the pavilion, there was a long talk between Chanderpaul and Sarwan. It seemed that they are going to play the major role in bringing their lost balance!!!
But the things turned other way. Sreesanth was bowling to Chanderpaul. The very second delivery, Chanderpaul went for leg glance but there was a slight mistiming in the shot!!! Sarwan immediately called for a run and was running toward the danger end!!! It was a very quick pickup and throw by Kumble to the stumps and Sarwan was runout by inches!!!
There was not even necessary for the third umpire also.... Umpire without any hesitation gave him out!!! The entire Indian started celebrating this wicket and the players were running over the ground with joy!!! The coach and Indian fans were excited!!!
But Sarwan had a long sad look at his partner and returned to pavilion to join Lara!!! This was supposed to be a suicide as there was no necessary for getting a run!!! Well its too late to think of it now for Windies!!!Sarwan joins the "DUCKS" club!!!
BRAVO JOINS CHANDERPAUL...
Bravo is the new man in to join Chanderpaul... The game is slowly shifting toward India... Windies need some good partnerships to stay on this competition!!!
The couple of quick wickets brought India well into the game. Sreesanth and Agarkar were bowling well. Suddnely Dravid took Sreesanth off and brought Munaf into the attack. The reason for this change is unknownn as Sreesanth was bowling well. But the things worked again... Munaf strikes again picking up an another crucial wicket.
CHANDERPAUL SENT TO PAVILION BY MUNAF...
Munaf Patel started his second spell well!!! He was about to bowl the last delivery!!! Dravid suddenly brought Sehwag much closer and had a word with Munaf. Munaf bowled his final delivery!!! Chanderpaul went to pull that one but the shot was mistimed and the ball found Sehwag quite easily!!! Sehwag took the simple catch... Dravid came running to Munaf and jumped on him!!! All other players were also celebrating!!!! The idea of bowling change as well as bringing Sehwag close worked for India...
Dravid doing a fantastic skipper role and moreover the bolwers are giving more than 100 percent to the team!!! The players are sticking to the strategy and playing accordingly!!!
Chanderpaul was extremely disappointed!!! He seemed to be settled but these kinds of mistakes happen in cricket.... Chanderpaul spoke few words to Bravo before returning to pavilion!!!
EXCITEMENT WIDESPREAD....
The excitemenent among Indian fans are increasing wicket by wicket!!! They are really enjoying and playing the music all over...Coach almost jumped from his chair when the catch was taken....
So windies need to produce something extraordinary if they want to come back to this game!!!! Ramdin is the new batsman replacing Chanderpaul.
WI : 134/5 (4.30pm,Day2)
Chanderpaul : 25(51) dismissed by Munaf.
Ramdin : 0* Trail by 269 Runs.
After Chanderpaul went to the dressing room, everyone were expecting to finish Windies off below 200!!! But once again the game turns the other way!!! Bravo and Ramdin are trying to bring Windies from the low level to some competitive level. Dravid and his team are working hard to break this pair.
BRAVO AND RAMDIN...
This pair had already started to give frustration to the bolwers!!! Munaf and Agarkar were replaced by Kumble and Yuvraj!!! The spinners were brought for trying to utilise the rough patch. But Yuvraj bolwed just an over. Then he was replaced by Sreesanth.
Sreesanth was smashed to a big six by Bravo!!! It appeared to be a catch but it just managed to clear the rope without finding the fielder there...So Bravo was lucky there....Windies are climbing now!!! There are frequent twists and turns in this game!!!
hopefully bravo can work himself into a good innings here. i think the more time the likes of sarwan and bravo spend in the middle with lara (i know hes out now, but for next time) the better they will be in the long term. great thread as always
Well, the bowlers are struggling more all of a sudden... Towards the end of the day, the runs are flowing freely. The bowlers are not able to stop this free flow of runs!!! Bravo is the reason for all these!!! He is going over all the bowlers!!! Indian skipper is almost clueless of Bravo!!!
BRAVO TROUBLE!!!
The skipper introduced Pathan, Sehwag and did many experiments in the fieldings also...But all of a sudden nothing working in favour of Indians!!! Bravo came down the stumps and hit a nice four of Sehwag!!! The strikes are rotated well.... The skipper is experimenting even during the end of session...Still just 15 minutes to go!!!
Mean while, Bravo brought 200 for the team and prevented the risk of being followon!!! So Windies are progressing well to get their balance back!!! All the credits go to this pair for preventing the risk of following on!!!
Its a quite Brave act by Bravo!!!! WI : 200/5 (5.45 pm,Day 2)
Bravo --- 31
Ramdin --- 17
Trail By 203 Runs.
