END OF DAY2 --- Great Comeback by Windies in last session!!!


Bravo is the most wanted wicket now for Indian bowlers!!! The bolwers tried at their level best even in last 15 minutes of the session!!! But all the efforts went in vain!!! Indian skipper was completly not happy eventhough they picked three wickets in this session.

DAY2 ENDS...

Kumble was bowling the last overs of the day... Bravo smashed a big six of Kumble!!! The things for India is getting more worse with Bravo at the crease!!! He is turning the things upside down!!! This is Bravo's second six of the innings!!!Many times he came down the stumps but managed strike the ball!!! So it seems that its a clean plan for Bravo to go over the bowlers!!! On the other end, Ramdin gave a firm solid support. This partnership is really frustrating for the bolwers as wells as Dravid!!!

Well, tired Indians walked off the field as The Day2 Ends!!! Indian players might try to forget all the things happened for last one hour and start the fresh innings tomorrow!!! The last one hour without any doubts belonged to one man... That man is Bravo!!! So its a great comeback by Windies!!! Well, the morning session of Day3 is very crucial for both the teams!!!

R.S : It has been an exciting day with more twist and turns in the game!!! We have Ian Bishop with us to discuss all the things that happened today after Lunch. Gud evening Bishop, How do u rate the Day2's play?

I.B : Gud evening Ravi, well... it was very much entertaining!!! But Indian team and Bravo did well overall!!!

R.S : yep, India was very much in control when they got Hinds and Gayle...After that there was some partnership went between Lara and Chanderpaul... And it kept going till tea.

I.B : Also, just want to mention about Gayle and Hinds.... Both the dismissals were absolutely an suicide.... But Munaf Patel and Sreesanth were bolwing well with quicky and Tricky bouncers!!! Munaf was outstanding of all the bowlers!!!

R.S : Yep, Munaf maintained extremely a well discipline line and length.... his wickets of Gayle and Chanderpaul were crucial as both these players maintain a great record against India!!!

OUTSTANDING MUNAF

I.B : well, He bowled extremly well...its obvious from the picture that the line he was bowling was good. Also dot balls were more than the runs taken. As for i observed even Bravo and Lara were not able to fire against him.... Exceptionally superb bowling!!!

R.S : Also there came the other important bolwer(Ajit) who came after Tea and did the most important damage!!! What do u think of Ajit's late arrival?

I.B : well, there must be definitely some strategy behind it.... Dravid is going according to some strategy right from the beginning of this game.... Also Agarkar striked in his very first over. He was bowling accurately from the first ball.... So Lara got frustrated and tried to hook the bouncer and got trapped.

R.S : That was an important break through Ajit made!!! If Lara wud have been there now, the situations might have completely different. So Agarkar produced the valuable wicket!!!

IMPRESSIVE AGARKAR

I.B : Ajit's bowling figures really impress me.He just gave 16 runs in 8 overs with an crucial wicket!!! Thats a pure quality bowling!!! Munaf and Ajit really kept on asking questions to the batsmen....And batsmen were contented to leave the delivery to the keeper most of the times.

R.S :Apart from these two, Other bolwers were punished everywhere. Inparticular, pathan disappointed the captain with his bad overall bowling performance so for!!! Thats due to the fact that Lara and Bravo were going over all the bowlers except Munaf and Ajit.

LARA & BRAVO Vs INDIA

I.B : Lara was setting the stable platform but unfortunately it came to an end.... But after tha Sarwan's poor runout and Chanderpaul's poor shot selection made Windies to fall in pits!!! At this time came the important man Bravo and rescued the team with stable Ramdin as a partner. Bravo went for two huge sixes, one against Sreesanth and other aginst Kumble. So he really kept the pressure releasing from Windies and this pair really played an vital part in preventing the follow on.

R.S : : Yep, thts true...If Indians had got this man early, then the whole situation might have turned by this time. But Bravo did the brave act of rescuing with Ramdin.

I.B : its really to be appriciated. Nice going Bravo!!!

R.S : Where do u think this game is in?

I.B : I feel, Bravo brought the balance back. So the game seems to go in a balanced way if Bravo continues the same aggressiveness is maintained tomorrow morning!!!

R.S : Ok, Bishop Thanx for all ur thoughts...Well, Summarizing the final scores at Day2,

So its goingto be very interesting morning session on Day3.

I.B : yep very very crucial....

R.S : thats correct.. Windies dont want to loose the wicket but Indians want a wicket atleast within the first hour!!! So the contest is going to bring more thrills!!!

DAY 3, 8.00 am​

Good Morning to all....Welcome to Day3 of first test between India and WestIndies. Today is going to be a crucial day for both the teams. Well there is still lot of time left to start of the day's play. This is special morning-8 package by STAR SPORTS to predict the conditions here.

Well so for no fans have turned out to the stadium as we have approximately 2-3 hours for the start of the play.

But the players are out from the dressing room and they are found practicing in the corner of the ground.

We bring u a special photograph of Lara expressing his emotions on this match,

This shows how worried he is about his team to save this test match!!!! And this is what Lara said to media yesterday,

Well, we lost 3 quick wickets in the middle...And infact one should admit that all were silly dismissals... We will work on it to be more watchful... We are trailing almost 200 runs now...so still lot of work to do.... Bravo is playing well... But we are facing a tough competition... Hope we will stay on this competition...All depends on today's morning session.

Also, both the captains were having a close look on the pitch few minutes ago... They are trying to study the nature of pitch...

WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR DAY3 :

Its bright and sunny...So we will be getting a full days play without any doubts!!! Its a wonderful atmosphere now to play cricket.


BRAVO STARTS IN STYLE....

Welcum to the third day's play of the first test match between India and WestIndies. Well, the stadium is fully crowded and the music have also started by the fans in the arena.

The players are coming out of the dressing room following the umpires. Windies batsmen arrive with some strategy. Well, Dravid gave the ball to Kumble to start the day and the sets the field accordingly!!!

BRAVO's CONFIDENT START....

The Umpire asked the bolwer to start the Day3. Kumble when started his runnerup there was a huge roar from the crowd... But it did not last long...sudden silence prevailed among Indian fans as Bravo smashed the very first ball to the four.

That was a great shot on the legside for an fantastic four!!! Dravid was not happy with Kumble.. He immediately went and had a chat.. Then two runs were taken from the next four balls and the first over of the Day3 finishes!!!

Its a great suprise by Dravid to start with Kumble!!!!

DRAVID's STRATEGY WORKS AGAIN!!!!

Everyone in the ground were wondering the reason for the start with Kumble as the morning session generally has advantage for fast bolwers. But the Skipper's plan worked perfectly. Kumble striked for the first time in this test!!!

KUMBLE's FIRST WICKET!!!

Kumble bowled a beautiful leg break that decieved Ramdin and ball managed to hit the stumps!!! Dravid was excited and also the other Indian players... They were celebrating with great joy as Kumble was able to break this pair atlast!!! Ramdin was disppointed and he was looking at the stumps and the pitch for a long time and went back to the dressing room with the sad face!!!

KUMBLE's WONDERFUL DELIVERY...

Kumble pitched the delivery in legstump line and turned it to the middle stump that decieved Ramdin...and the ball managed to pass between the pad and the bat. Still the dangerman Bravo is there... But Dravid wud be contented now as he was able to break this long partnership that was causing all sorts of trouble to the bowlers.

SMITH JOINS BRAVO...

Smith is the new batsmen replacing Ramdin. Bravo clearly explained the strategy to Smith to rotate strikes!!! Smith faced the last delivery of that over from Kumble without any problem.

BRAVO's FIFTY IN STYLE....

After Ramdin went to the pavilion, there is no much diffence becos of Bravoblasts!!! He has been a real trouble for the bowlers. Even the most impressive bowler so for i.e Agarkar wasn't able to control him. Agarkar was smashed to a big six in his fifth delivery of that over. Also Bravo attempted to come down the wicket to hit a few boundaries but the ball managed to decieve Bravo to go pass the keeper.

Bravo with the huge six brought his fifty that came in a very crucial moment!!! So Dravid is still working hard to dismiss Bravo but, so for, all the efforts in that went vain!!!

ATLAST MASTER PUT AN END TO BRAVO!!!

Dravid's strategy has been working so perfectly except against Bravo. Kumble and Agarkar were bowling in good line and length but that doesnt seem to threaten Bravo by any way!!! Even both of the bowlers went around the wicket for a while to try some new things but was of no use!!!

Then Dravid decided to bring his part time bowler...This time he decided to go with Sachin and gave him the ball.... Sachin straight away wanted to go around the wicket. He was aiming for the block hole from that side as that wud make the batsmen more difficult to play. Also the fielding was set accordingly!!!

TENDULKAR STRIKES...

Few deliveries were bolwed and Tendulkar seems to be effective in some way. Then he bolwed his fifth delivery. He pitched outside the legstump. Bravo doesnt want to attempt that..so he left the ball to go... Then he was taken by a suprise...The ball turned a bit and just marginlly managed to strike the legstumps resulting in the taking off the bails!!! It was an unbelievable delivery... Even Sachin cant believe his eyes... But Bravo has to return to the pavilion... He was nodding his head and went back to the dressing room.

POWELL JOINS SMITH

It was an unfortunate end to the good innings.... Bravo was taking the control away from India!!! But the master striked at the right time...So Dravid's suprise changes still working for India.

Powell is the new batsman replacing Bravo to join Smith in the middle.

TAIL ENDER's SOME RESSISTANCE AND PATHAN STRIKES FOR FIRST TIME.....


After Bravo got dismissed, Indians had an idea to finish the innings off quickly.. But the tail enders are offering some ressistance... They rarely make the ball to strike the bat as they let it pass to the wicket keeper most of the times.... Dravid wanted to stop this some way... He was making frequent bowling changes... He tried Munaf, Pathan, Kumble and Sachin!!! Kumble also tried from the other end also... But the result was same... they took the singles without any risks!!!

Then Pathan was brought by Dravid!!! He had a terrible spell in this test match... He was one of the disappointed bowler of this test!!! He was bowling to Smith!!!

SMITH DISMISSED BY PATHAN BY HIS FAVOURITE SWING.....

Pathan, in his fourth delivery, attempted his favourite delivery... i.e swinging in towards the batsman that has produced many LBWs for him.... This worked again for Pathan.. As Smith misjudged the line and length, he was trapped by Pathan for a LBW...There was a huge shout and the umpire took some time to give it. Pathan and others became excited... Smith was disappointed and returned to pavilion. So Windies are eight wickets down now!!!

EDWARDS JOINS POWELL

Pathan is relieved a bit to take his first wicket in this match!!! Edwards is the new batsman replacing Smith.

JUST ONE MORE WICKET LEFT....

Indian bowlers have performed exceptionally well so for... The main thing is that they are got wickets in regular intervals in this morning session. Dravid's operation with Kumble is working further.Kumble strikes again with his typical kumble delivery to dismiss Edwards!!!

EDWARDS DISMISSED BY KUMBLE...

Kumble's legbreak did the trick again. He pitched the delivery in the legstump line and turned it to the middle stump... Edwards going forward for the defence was completely decieved and the ball managed to go between the pad and the bat... And managed to hit the stumps...Kumble and Dhoni started jumping with excitement...

Dravid was also happy because his strategy of bringing Kumble has worked well so for... Edwards joined the "DUCKS" club and went back to dressing room..So only one wicket left now..Lawson arrives replacing Edwards!!!
