I loved the screen saying "Good Decision from upmire", that is something EA has implemented in C2k7 :p (Transparency)

Good going by Afridi. If he can stay in then the 300+ score is definitely a possibility. Even if we lose or wicket or two in the next ten overs, we still have arguably the best middle-order in world order to rely on- Yousuf, Inzi and YK. Well done so far!

I am just fixing the face problem of Sourav and Sreesanth atm as i mentioned in Saurabh's thread!

Updates coming soon! :)

Very good start by Pakistan so far, would have thought Afridi would be quicker than he was but guess the fireworks are still to come.

wow great pres, i always like the split screen shots. afridi and malik going well, they should get 320+ if they don't collapse

Pakistan Still Looking Solid
( Afridi Slowed down a bit, Yousuf's Aggressive Start)

well, with a great scoring rate, there were no pressure on batsmen. It was more on the bowlers and Dravid especially! Dravid, after having a long chat with Sourav & Sachin, decided to change the field completely! He had only three men in leg side and remaining in offside. It was a attacking offside field with leg side having a huge gap! It was a risky field setting with Afrid though but Dravid was ready to face it! Infact this worked with the wicket of Malik by Kumble.

S.Malik,The First Victim of Kumble!

malikdismiissedjt3.jpg

Kumbe bowled an normal leg break. Malik who was tempted to go over the huge gap in legside, was completely decieved missing the ball. This made the ball to travel towards the stumps resulting in a clean bowled.

Kumble was delighted to get a breakthrough. But he was very lucky that Malik misread the delivery otherwise, it wud have resulted in a huge one. But its over, Malik was disappointed and frustrated also for not controlling his temptation as his main job was to carry on the innings. Malik made his way towards the pavilion and its another batsmen, like Akmal, failing to convert the good start to a huge one. The entire Indian was brought together for celebrating the breakthrough, but still, Dravid wants Afridi's wicket badly!

Another Solid Pair for Pakistan!

Yousuf was straight into his business as soon as he came to the crease. He started his first ball with a four. Aftr that also, Yousuf was scoring runs at the quick rate while Afridi slowed down in other end. It seems to be a predefined strategy that Pakistan wants Afridi to stay in last 10 overs. Malik who joined Afridi also started aggressively and now Yousuf doing the same.

Well, Afridi though started playing his watchful innings, he was able to get boundaries in regular intervals. But still, a six is missing under Afridi's belt! Dravid was operating with Kumble and Powar but the result remained unaffected, i.e runs were constantly coming!

Also, Yousuf in 7th Over of Kumble, scored three consecutive fours with sixteen runs coming in that over alone which has raised the scoring rate of Pakistan a bit too! Kumble was frustrated as he was trying to create opportunities for a wicket but batsmen especially Yousuf outsmarted Kumble.

Thirty Overs came to an end and the scoring rate of Pakistan is still above 6 per over atm. Afridi is on his way to century and overall, Pakistan is placed in nice position. India, with bowlers taking only two wickets are in danger considering the batsmen who are yet to come in the final stage of this innings. Well, its going to be interesting to see how Dravid is going to handle this pressure! India definitely needs couple of quick wickets atleast to put some pressure. Afridi now have turned as a nightmare for Indian bowlers!

Pakistan :- 187/2(30)
S.Afridi : 94*(90)
M.Yousuf : 33*(22)

S.Malik : 30(34) Dismissed by Kumble.
India in Pressure!

cool job........Wow great presentation as always, I always like Your work .....Afridi We want Century now.....BTW Afridi and M.yusuf are playing very well, they should get 300+ .........Keep it up mate cant wait for the next update

great batting by afridi, out of a character but he is beginning to understand he doesn't need to smash every ball and is playin for the team

Afridi playing a mature innings- No careless slogs or the temptation to hit Kumble out of the ground. :p

This reminds me of the younger Afridi (in particular his 140 against India in '99), where he was his normal self but still played a watchful innings and wasn't scared to defend a few times! Very good knock from Boom Boom, if he manages to get past his century and stay in for another ten overs, he will definitely kick off and blast the Indians.

Pakistan in a very strong position- Yousuf is just pure class and will give Afridi good support. Inzamam is still to bat, so the best is still to come; and Razzaq is more than capable of providing some fireworks near the end of the innings! Still on for that 300+ score.

India Gets the Breakthrough!
( Afridi Misses the Century by Four Runs )

afridiouttf2.jpg

Dravid's another suprise decision was brinnging Tendulkar to bowl stopping Kumble. Infact that worked for India. Tendulkar brought the important breakthrough getting rid of Afridi which was most needed wicket for India!

Sachin continued around the wicket tactics with field set accordingly. He delivered an ordinary leg break delivery aiming the block hole and Afridi was tempted to go over the top. While going over the top, the timing was marginally incorrect and hence the ball went in air towards Indian skipper. Dravid made an jump upwards and managed to get hold of the ball which resulted in the important wicket of Afridi.

Afridi was just short of century only by four runs. Tendulkar was delighted and Dravid celebrated this with huge amount of joy as he is well aware of the importance of this wicket. Afridi was disappointed for getting out in this way after an watchful innings. He made his way back to pavilion and recieved standing applauses while returning to the dressing room. What an innings this has been from Afridi! Well done Afridi :clap

Pakistan skipper,Inzi replaces Afridi at the crease joining Yousuf who is looking in great touch!

Yousuf's 32 Ball Fifty

yousuffiftyyq4.jpg

Yousuf in other end was very solid and now he turns out to be an danger for Indian team. He is scoring at an amazing rate with boundaries very frequently. Yousuf is able to pick the gaps very well and playing with perfection. His footworks are excellent and bowlers are confused as to where to pitch the ball and Dravid is confused to set the fielders to Yousuf!

Meanwhile, Yousuf brought his half century in just 32 balls with Ten fours in his innings so far!
He raised his bat towards the dressing room and everyone applauded him for the excellent innings by Yousuf so far. His fast scoring rate is helping Pakistan's scoring rate also while Inzi is taking time to settle.

Inzi is little uncomfortable with around the wicket of tactic of Tendulkar. Dravid is still contented to operate with Tendulkar in one end and thinking to bring a fast bowler in Powar's end!

Well, 35 Overs ended, India is able to get rid of dangerous Afridi but now, Yousuf is turning as a threaten to the bowlers.

Pakistan :- 215/3(35)
Inzi : 5*(12)
M.Yousuf : 53*(36)

S.Afridi : 96(94) Dismissed by Tendulkar.
Afridi misses Century as Sachin strikes!

Afridi didn't get out playing a silly shot?! Times are changing!

Yousuf is playing well and good that India made the breakthrough, c'mon India!
