Game In Balance!
( Bashar departed, but Saleh & Aftab Compensates )

Well, with the wicket of Ashraful, Fleming tried to attack a bit more on Saleh but both the batsmen were watchful enough to workout singles and keep the scorecard moving! Fleming was not satisfied. With a bold risk, he brought Vettori into bowling which worked for Kiwis with the big wicket of Bashar in his first over but was smashed in second over that infact stopped him from bowling!

Bashar Dismissed by Vettori!

Bashar reached his fifty and raised his bat towards the dressing room and everyone applauded him for the brilliant effort so far! Infact its the match's first fifty. But the happiness did not last long as Vettori got rid of Bashar.

Vettori was having big problem in gripping the wet ball becos of its exposure to the dew filled outfield. So Vettori did neither try to turn the ball nor flight the delivery as it was just skidding from the hands. This made him to bowl a quick delivery to Bashar which he tried to put away for a huge one. But Bashar was unlucky to get an inside edge and the ball travelled towards the stumps straight away resulting in clean bowled!

Bashar was very very unfortunate to get dismissed in this way. Vettori was very much excited to bring the important breakthrough and the entire Kiwis team celebrated this with huge amount of joy and happines while Bashar walked back towards the dressing room with lot of disappointments inspite of his great knock. Everyone applauded him while walking back for the great patient innings. Aftab Ahmed replaced Bashar at the crease joining Saleh & this brought a new twist to Bangladesh's innings!

Aftab Smashing With Support of Saleh!

Vettori who had the great first over made Fleming to loose his temper in the second over. Aftab, though he just arrived, went over Vettori in his first ball for a boundary. Fleming adjusted the fielding a bit and alerted the fielders to be ready for a catch. Aftab, in second ball, played an beautiful shot that bisected the gaps very well and ball managed to touch the ropes which resulted in second consecutive boundary! Fleming got frustrated.

Also, later in the same over, Saleh came down the crease & played an excellent shot for four! Vettori finished his two overs with 20 Runs and a wicket. The last over stopped Vettori from bowling further and Astle was brought in Veto's end. Aftab and Saleh looked very confident in their shot selection and kept the scorecard moving creating pressure on Kiwis!

The fielders also have great problem in chasing the ball becos of the dew factor. The players are found to dry the bottom spikes of shoes as they seem to loose the grip a bit while running. This is one of the reasons for which Fleming is continuing with Oram,Styris & Astle who are bowling with a short runner up!

Well, 35 Overs ended & the situation looks crucial for both the teams. Bangladesh depends a lot on this pair & majorly looking to take advantage of the dew factor. Meanwhile, Fleming is eagerly looking for some more quick wickets especially Aftab who has already made a quick start! The game looks to be in balance and anything can happen! :)

Bangladesh :- 147/4(35)
Aftab : 22*(17)
R.Saleh : 21*(32)

H.Bashar : 50(80) Dismissed by Vettori.
Bangladesh require 81 Runs from 90 Balls!

Quite quite possible,i'll have to retract from my earlier statements now.
Bangla look a formidable opposition.

C'mon Bangla!! Whooo! You can do this! The secret to winning now is to not slow down! Just play your game, put the Kiwis on the ropes and let them make the mistakes under pressure!
