News Flash : Kallis Misses Century!
( Contest Oscillating like a Pendulum between two teams )​

Well, with the current partnership developing turning out to be a solid one, the frustrations for Indian skipper and the entire team increased again. Kallis got adjusted to his role of domination after the departure of Gibbs. This is where a complete experience was displayed. It was well supported by his partner, Dippenaar.

Kallis, Taking the Role of Domination.

The bowlers were completely clueless on sudden aggressive approach of Kallis. Zaheer khan and Sreesanth, who were bowling with the intention of getting wickets, were punished by Kallis. Dravid stopped Sreesanth and brought back Harbhajan who was at the economy rate of 8RPO at that time. Kallis, straight away, came down the track and looked to attack him too.. Infact he succeeded as well.

This quick acceleration of SouthAfrican scorecard made Dravid to press the panic button. He was working with busily with his fielders.. changes were done frequently but was of no use. Dippenaar too supported Kallis very well. SouthAfrica was moving towards a strong position.

Dravid's Faith In Tendulkar.

Atlast, Indian skipper decided to take a risk and introduced Sachin Tendulkar into the attack. Tendulkar was well aware of the panic situation and the field was set accordingly to Kallis.

Ball 1 : Tendulkar bowled an quick straight one and Kallis was very much contented to defend it for no run.

Ball 2 : It was a leg spin attempted and Kallis came down the track to attempt for a huge one.. but the bat fails to make a contact and luckily, it struck the pads and went towards the slips. Tendulkar gave an sarcastic laugh at it.

Ball 3 : It was once again a leg spin.. Kallis attempted to sweep this time but missed once again.. The ball went straight to the keeper. There was some half shout appeal from Dhoni but Tendulkar wasn't interested and gave an another sarcastic laugh at Kallis.

Ball 4 : This time, it was a quick straight delivery again which was played straight to the fielder. Kallis should have been happy for having made the contact with the ball finally after some struggles.

Ball 5 - Got Him!!!!!! Kallis misses an Century.

There has been a great mix-up in bowling of Tendulkar. This time, it looked like an marginal off-spin which costed an huge wicket.

Tendulkar bowled an ordinary delivery like previous ones.. Kallis decided to leave it as it was looking like to go beyond the offstumps. But to everyone's suprise, the ball made its way into the batsman very marginally and it just managed to hit the edge of the stumps resulting in clean bowled. This was an unbelievable stuff from Tendulkar. The entire Indian team started to celebrate this vital blow.

Kallis stood confused and was wondering about the thinking of fox-minded bowler. After some time, he returned to pavilion with loads of disappointments but recieved huge standing applauses for the brilliant innings. SouthAfrican skipper, Smith arrived at the crease and was happy to defend the last ball of that over.

Well, just around 40 minutes to go for Tea-Break..SouthAfrica would be looking for a nice another partnership from these two which would enhance their great position. Dravid, who was pleased with the last over, would be looking for another wicket before Tea to apply the pressure back on SouthAfricans. So, the contest between two teams/ contest between two skippers are still ON.. Stay Tuned!

Well, South Africa have been known as chokers, and thats what they've done so far in this game, with 2 players getting out in the 90's. They're still in an excellent position though and Smith at the crease is worrying for India.
