( Bowlers had a tough time against Gibbs/Kallis pair )​

Well, it was when Gibbs/Kallis pair seemed to settle down, Dravid made an bowling change of bring in Pathan/Kumble in place of Sreesanth/Zaheer. The situation turned even more worse when Pathan started bowling. Irfan Pathan was attacked without any mercy.:

Gibbs In Complete Control.

Gibbs took the initiative to attack Pathan. Its to be noted that Gibbs was already in attacking mood.. With this attack against Pathan, the scorecard started to move even more at very fast rate. Pathan was allowed to operate only for three overs... but he ended with eco-rate of more than 10 per over. He struggled in pace and line which looked like old problematic struggling Pathan. Gibbs reached an magnificent fifty for which he recieved many many applauses. What an entertainment this has been to the home crowd.

In other end, Kumble managed to keep Kallis quiet. Dravid stood clueless about his third bowling option. He stopped Pathan and brought in Harbhajan Singh. Bhaji started off very well but turned out to be expensive after the first two overs. Harbhajan also became the victim of Gibbs attack.. Gibbs has now became the nightmare for Indian bowlers. His fast scoring rate also made the scorecard to move at the rapid rate.

Experienced Gameplay from Kallis.

In other end, Kallis displayed his experienced gameplay. Kallis started off very slowly with atmost patience and then slowly, he started to explode the Indian bowling. Harbhajan was also attacked by Kallis. Dravid maintained Kumble in one end and brought another bowling change of Sreesanth but it did not affect SA in anyways.

Sreesanth was smashed for two consecutive boundaries by Kallis. Its to be noted that Gibbs also attacked Pathan in similar way earlier but with three consecutive boundaries. Overall, Dravid and his bowlers were eagerly waiting for lunch break to refresh themselves. The partnership grew stronger and stronger and it was a complete entertainment to the home crowd in the stadium. Indian fans remained silent and like Dravid, they are also waiting for a breakthrough. Kallis too reached his fifty and recieved applauses from the home crowd. Meanwhile, Umpires indicated the lunch break and asked the players to go for Lunch. Indian players left with lot of frustrations which was very obvious in their faces.

Scorecard, Lunch.

Well, except for the first few minutes, the session completely belonged to SouthAfrica. India had no chance in stopping the explosion of neither Gibbs nor Kallis. In particular, the last one hour added a lot and lots of frustrations to the Indian team. Smith and his teammates in dressing room wud be definitely pleased with their team's performance till now and wud be looking to go in the same way after lunch too.. Meanwhile, Indian team wud be looking to refresh themselves in next session and had to get a breakthrough as soon as possible after lunch. So the contest is still not over.. Have to wait and see what happens after lunch. Stay Tuned
