Big wicket of Kallis but honestly that was a bit soft. Should've come foward and blocked that out easily. Kallis must've had a brain explosion. I am sure India will be so happy to pick up a wicket like that so cheaply. South Africa aren't doing there chokers tag any good by two players getting out in the 90's like Phil said. I would say at the moment it is a pretty even match. Keep up the absoutely marvellous work here Surrendar!

With Smith at the crease, Dravid immediately stopped Tendulkar and brought back Zaheer Khan. This remained as a great suprise to everyone and infact it was shocking too.. because, none expected Tendulkar to be stopped from the attack especially after a wicket maiden in his very first over. But the bowling change indeed worked well for India fetching another wicket of SouthAfrican skipper.

Smith Vs ZaheerKhan.

The very first ball which Smith faced Khan was bowled outside offstump line and Smith was contended to leave it back to the keeper. But the ball went very close to stumps and Zaheer gave a sarcastic smile towards Smith. Khan would have loved to see that ball moving inwards a bit more though. This indicated that battle between Zaheer and Smith is still ON! And it was Smith who has more pressure because of his poor form lately.

The second ball was an attempted yorker. Smith managed to defend it and Dravid increased the pressure situation on Smith further by bringing an extra silly point and the field set was aggressive. Any bad line/length looked to be definitely punishable with that field set.

Third delivery was a bouncer and Smith simply left it to let it pass towards Dhoni. It was Zaheer once again who came running a bit near to Smith and delibrately gave an sarcastic smile.

No exchange of words.. but the battle was turning hotter. All the SA fans remained silent and were eagerly waiting for Smith to respond Khan with a massive boundary.

Zaheer Won the Mind Battle Once Again.

It was the fourth delivery of Khan which put an quick end to this contest between Smith and ZaheerKhan. The delivery was pretty much similar to the first one earlier this over. But it did swung bit more inward and suprised Smith.

This suprise inswing made the ball to strike the pads... And as soon as it struck the pads, Zaheer made an huge appeal for the LBW in confident way.. At the same time, the ball managed to strike the edge of the bails taking it off from the stumps which ultimately resulted in clean bowled. Umpire gave an smile to Zaheer's enthusiastic shout and said, " Yes, Its bowled! " It was only after that Zaheer realised that he has got Smith already.

Smith stood confused and disappointed. Its sure that the whole SA dressing room would be in lots of frustrations on Smith for displaying an inconfident approach when the things were going well for their team. Smith walked back towards the pavilion with head down.. And the Indian team were in great mood to celebrate this wicket .. In particular, a huge smile was observed in Zaheer's face for repeated dismissals of Smith. Its still, " Smith became the bunny of Zaheer Khan! "

Some Entertainment From Dippenaar.

Kemp arrived as the new batsman joining Dippenaar and the pressure on the home team is massive now to avoid further collapse.

Both the batsmen progressed in watchful manner and their intention of not throwing away the wickets was obvious from their approach. This slowed down the run rate of home team but soon Dippenaar started to play some cracking shots. He did take some risks like edging towards the slips for cheeky runs and also played some magnificent leg glances. Dravid brought the spin twins back to hunt for more wickets.. but till now, Kemp and Dippenaar denied them any further chances and took their team to Tea-Break with same 4 wickets in the wicket-column. Umpires asked the players to leave for short Tea break and players left the field.

Well, this session went in balanced way for both the teams. Runs were coming by some means to the home team and at the same time, the visitors managed to take regular wickets. Dismissal of Kallis and Gibbs in this session remains as the crucial ones till now. SouthAfrica would be definitely looking forward to build a good partnership and a great total to apply pressure on the tourist side. At the same time, Dravid would also be looking to get some more quick wickets.. the role of spin twins in the last session might turn very handy too.. Have to wait and see how the contest remains in last session as till now, it went in balanced manner between the bat and the ball. Stay Tuned!
