India In SouthAfrica
India Vs SouthAfrica

Twenty20 Match,Johannesburg.
End of 14 Overs, 2nd Innings.

Game Turning out to be a Close Contest!
( Yuvraj brings all the hopes back, making Smith clueless )

Well, with two early wickets, its never easy for a team to bounce back, that too, in this very limited format of the game. But Yuvraj just started to turn the things around for India. He continued his excellent start and continued exploding the bowlers as well with good support from Raina in other end.

Recovering Process ~ Yuvraj and Raina in Action.

Its to be noted that, Steyn and Pollock already shared 6 overs between them. So, Smith had no other options rather than introducing a new bowler at this stage. Hall was introduced as the first bowling change and his first over released the entire pressure situation which was maintained by the opening bowlers.

Yuvraj went wild over Hall. He went for two huge sixes and welcomed Hall in a shocking way. These two consecutive sixes brought back the enthusiasm among Indian spectators BACK!!! Yuvraj didn't stop with just this welcome. He continued that momentum by smashing further two boundaries(4's) in next three balls.

So, 20 runs in first five balls made the entire situation to look different. Smith was completely frustrated with Hall as he(Hall) just blew up the pressure situation which was maintained with great difficulty by Pollock/Steyn.

Yuvi's SIX to Welcome Hall ~ Action Replay!

The replay of Yuvi's Six in that first ball of Hall was very delightful to watch again and again. What a fantastic shot that was by Yuvi!:hpraise Perfectly placed... came from middle of the bat.. and ball clearing the ropes by a good distance.

Botha was introduced in other end. He was quite effective in his first over and successful in making Raina to struggle a bit. But, Raina played some crucial partnership as well. He got couple of boundaries which was helping India to get back into a right track.

Hall, though he gave away just 8 runs in his very next over, didn't impress Smith. It seemed to be a good comeback by Hall, but SouthAfrican skipper had enough bowling options to switch to Morkel and Kallis. Morkel and Botha didn't look too much effective though. They were looking just like ordinary T20 bowlers giving away runs.

Impressive Start by Kallis.

yuvilbwwu2.jpg

It was Kallis who looked a lot impressive after the opening bowlers. Yuvraj, who was in great touch with the bat, struggled against the great line/length of Kallis. Yuvraj found very difficult to put Kallis away. He was decieved on several occasions which brought back hopes of Smith on Kallis to dismiss this dangerous player(Yuvraj).

Infact, Kallis almost succeeded in his mission : Get Yuvraj! He decieved Yuvraj with a straight delivery which bounced in a bit unusual way. Yuvraj, trying to defend that, completely missed it and resulted in huge appeal for LBW. There was a huge shout from Kallis, Smith, Boucher and some more fielders.

Yuvraj was also looking somewhat worried and waiting for umpire's decision. Umpire took his time and and finally gave the decision in benefit of the batsmen. He said, " NOT OUT"! This relieved Yuvi and brought some smile too. Kallis and Smith were frustrated in other end though.

The replay showed that, it was a close call for LBW but that unusual bounce saved Yuvi this time. Ball seemed to go past over the bails and hence, height factor rescued Yuvraj. It was a great start for Kallis which again built the pressure back on India.

Raina, The Victim of Impressive Kallis.

Once again, the unusual bounce created trouble for Indians. This time, it was Raina. Another straight delivery was bowled by Kallis. Raina was just trying to play in normal way, but the bounce was unexpectedly low which struck the pads in front of middle stumps.

There was huge shout from Kallis and was looking confident as well. Umpire did not take much time.. He raised his hand giving the decision in favour of confidently looking Kallis. Bowler got his reward finally for his brilliant start to his spell. Smith came running down to Kallis and almost lifted him(Kallis). Team celebrations continued for SouthAfrica.

Raina returned back to pavilion with lot of frustrations. SouthAfrican skipper was finally relieved to break this partnership. Uthappa arrived in as a new batsman under massive pressure. The replay of this dismissal showed that it was a good decision from umpire as ball seemed to hit middle stumps without any problems.

Non-Stop Fireworks from Yuvi.

Botha and Morkel continued in other end of Kallis. But they(Botha/Morkel) were helpless in controlling Yuvraj. Dismissal of Raina, inspite of creating pressure further on India, did not stop Yuvi from attacking the bowlers. His quick fifty made all the spectators to giving standing applauses for the brilliant effort and entertainment.

He(Yuvi) went wild over both the bowlers and played some fantastic shots. He played almost all over the ground. This accelerated the scorecard at a rapid rate and is taking India close to the required total though Required Run Rate is around 14 per over.

Smith was looking clueless as how to stop this Yuvraj. His only hope is Kallis, who has bowled his two overs in a impressive manner. With two overs left for Kallis, one over for Pollock and one over for Steyn, its never going to be easy for India but at the same time, its not impossible as well. ;)

Impressive Bowling Spell by Kallis.

kallisbowlinggv3.jpg

Kallis just bowled two overs and he was very very impressive. His stats in those overs shows that he was 'spot-on' in his line and length. He didn't offer much width for batsmen except those four deliveries. He maintained his stump-stump line which became difficult for batsmen to put those away.

He had decieved the batsmen on five different occasions which includes both the LBW shouts. Also, there were couple of edges as well. With such a impressive start for Kallis, the contest between this bowler and Yuvraj is going to be interesting.

Well, with India coming back nicely from early pressure situation, its still looking tough for India to reach that target. With Yuvraj still batting at the crease, opponents can never settle down. Also, attacking batsmen are still there for India which includes Uthappa, Sharma and most importantly, Dhoni. So, Smith has still plenty of jobs to do in containing this promising Indian side. Apart from Kallis, Pollock and Steyn, other bowlers looked very ordinary. Can India utilize those? Can Yuvi help India to win? Can Kallis shatter the hopes of India? Have to wait and see to find answers for all these. Stay Tuned for this great contest(Yuvi Or Kallis???, India Or SA??? )! :)

Yuvraj is definitely on his way to a test spot.
Simply awesome from Suren as usual.

That bowling analysis chart is amazing. One of the best bits of graphics I have seen done in a story. So much depth to it. A run rate of just under 11 in those alst 8 overs was a good job from Yuvraj. 6 overs to get 85 is a tough thing. If Yuvraj is there at the end, then india will be close if not home...

Yuvraj will do it if others support him. Come on India. Chak de India.

Excellent work Surenbhai. I cannot believe that you have very much advaced technologies.

Very good batting by Yuvraj. India have very less chances of winning this but it's not impossible.

Awesome presentation. I love the Dart Fish and the bowling analysis.

India are still in with a chance if they bat well in these last few overs.

As others said this amazing work, but I just feel that I have to say it as well. Also congrats on SOTM mate :)

Wow great hitting by Yuvraj but i think that this total is going to be too much. They needed to fire earlier.

Awesome graphics. Particuarly the six animation with Yuvraj.. I think India can win this game providing they don't lose to many wickets and keep on turning the strike over.

85 runs from 36 balls is gettable with Yuvi at the crease. Come On Yuvi we need 6 sixes of 1 Kallis over;) Presentation keeps on getting better and better. Nice work :)

Hey can we have a Vbookie event for this ?
Anyways,i believe India has the chance to do well given that Yuvraj stays at the crease.
