Hmm I'll start to again follow this story. I reckon it'll be a good choice with AC09 as your graphics in your updates will be much better.

Sweet, the equal greatest story ever (along with gamerkid) is back in business using arguably the greatest cricket game ever.

Bro, we have Indian 09 kit ready (in AC09 forum.)
So, just ask Appu and keep that in story..
Even we have all the logos updated. use them..:):)

many people are doing the same mistake. First lets spread the awareness that those workarounds for kits/bats/faces work only for the demo and not the full game. Just because we got textmod tool that doesn't mean that patching has become possible. The full game still shows a strong RED signal to patching.

Lets spread this awareness. I was very much annoyed to see some of the threads with wrong information there. Hopefully Abbh or someone comes up with positive solution.

Anyways, updates coming up shortly!

India Vs Australia - End of 9 Overs

Well, after both the batsmen got ready and the field set up, the umpire asked the bowler to start off the cracking match. There was a huge roar from crowd of both the sides when the bowler started the runner up. Ishant came running till the crease and got distracted in the middle. Hence, he stopped his runner up and went back again. There was a sudden silence when this took place. Even Marsh was bit annoyed by sudden stop of the bowler. Ishant re-started his runner up and came furiously towards Marsh with the nice shining white ball in his hands.

Horrible First over despite the fantastic First ball!

firstover.jpg

The very first ball from Ishant was a furious bouncer. Marsh tried to duck that bad bouncer but, due to the unpredictable bounce, the ball struck near the rib cage of Marsh. Everyone suspected a serious injury when Marsh struck the ground. Ishant came running towards the batsmen, and apologized. After some moments, Marsh recovered from that blow and everything went back to normal.

The cheer from Indian spectators increased when Ishant started his second ball runner up, but this time the result was different. Marsh glided the ball in between the gaps in offside and the ball went fast & furious to the boundary. ;) It was classic to watch though. Ishant didn't utter a single word & went back for his next delivery. The confident level went down and it made Ishant to bowl a crappy delivery which was smashed too. He struggled the entire over after a fantastic first ball & ended the first over with 17 runs. Dhoni was clueless. :doh

Bravo start from Marsh/Warner

update2x.jpg

Zaheer Khan was the next new ball bowler. Dhoni set a bit defensive field for Warner. But still Warner maintained his wild temper and kept focused in smashing the bowler. Marsh in the other end maintained the same cracking form which he established in the very first over of this match.

Dhoni kept changing the field between offside and legside. But still, the fielders were running and chasing the ball. Apart from the first ball, there were another couple of occasions where angry words were exchanged between batsmen and bowler, but Dhoni did his captaincy job well enough to settle the things quick.

Fifty Runs Partnership, Bowlers went clueless

unstoppablewarnermarsh.jpg

Bowlers really had no clue where they were pitching the ball! :doh Irfan Pathan was brought to the attack as Ishant terribly/horribly failed with the new ball. Pathan was clever enough to use his line and length as his plus point. He maintained a strict line and length and reduced the pace. Marsh, though smashed & punished couple of bad deliveries, Pathan remained clearly better than other two. Warner maintained his patience against Pathan.

It was Marsh who always tried to go over the bowler. He succeeded well against Zaheer too by smashing couple of huge SIXES! :facepalm All which the men in blue could do was, WATCHING THE BALL TO FLY HERE AND THERE! :doh Aussies quickly crossed the 50 runs mark.

A Wicket finally! :banana2

warnerout.jpg

Definitely not an AI bug. :p

When Zaheer was bowling in one of the overs, Marsh attempted a flashy cover drive in the gaps. However, the laziest Sehwag managed to stop the ball in the middle. :p The throw from Sehwag was quick enough that the speed of the ball won the speed of the runner, Warner. Despite the brave dive by Warner, Zaheer did well to remove the bails off and batsman was just short of the ground. Finally, India got the breakthrough the looked for.

The score was 61 runs and Australian captain came to join the runs-party. Marsh was undisturbed by the loss of his partner. He still went strong over Zaheer by hitting a huge SIX! Dhoni literally went mad over Marsh's attitude of smashing the bowlers.

Ponting, the bunny of Ishant Sharma:D

pontingout.jpg

Even in the game? :p

As soon as Ponting came as a new batsman, Dhoni brought back Ishant Sharma. This was a bold and shocking move because Pathan contained the batsmen well. Ishant came back to bowl & ponting's face looked as though he wanted to continue hunting Ishant sharma for runs.

Dhoni encouragement helped Sharma to regain some of his lost confidence & he delivered a beautiful outswinger. Ponting tried to play in the covers but Tendulkar spoiled all the hopes of Aussie skipper. The ball went low in the air & the legend, Tendulkar made a brilliant effort to catch the ball.

Ishant Sharma directly went to 9th cloud when the catch was taken. The entire Indian team got another big relief. Aussie skipper was the most disappointed. He almost threw his bat down and walked back angrily to the pavilion. Indian team continued to celebrate the dismissal of Ponting. :banana2

Two Quick wickets & hence the huge pressure!

clarkarrives7129.jpg

Though Aussies have given a great start, Indian team rightly brought back the lost balance. Michael Clarke arrived with huge pressure on his shoulders. However, in other end, Marsh looked very calm and cool. Credits to Ishant and Sehwag for helping India to bring back the balance in this game. At the end of nine overs, Aussies are still in threatening position with 71 runs despite the loss of 2 quick wickets. It should be interesting to see whether Indian bowlers can manage to apply further pressure on uncontrollable Aussies. Stay Tuned to find out more. :)

Marsh has been brilliant so far, if he stays Aussies can post a huge target. Indian bowlers havent started well at all but have come back. Need to get rid of Clarke and Marsh to put some more pressure on the Aussies.

Wow!!! the screens are looking really great. KIU :clap

India Vs Australia - End of 18 Overs

With things going to & fro between the bat & the ball, Dhoni kept motivating his bowlers & fielders. Marsh remained as their main threat. Dhoni's trust on fast bowlers slowly started to fall as Marsh kept rising again & again to the top class. Michael Clake also joined the party with Marsh to destroy the Indian pacers.

Spinners Brought To Action Very Early.

harbhajantobowl.jpg

As expected, the trust on fast bowlers faded off from Dhoni's mind. He stopped Irfan Pathan & Ishant Sharma from bowling. He introduced Harbhajan in one end. He started off with a tight spell. This brought some ray of light to the Indian dressing room.

End of Marsh Finally!

marshout.jpg

However, Dhoni's trust on Zaheer got rewarded at the right time. Zaheer bowled a normal quick delivery which, Marsh tried to put it away in the offside. Sachin who was standing inside the ring, took a very sharp catch to dismiss the dangerman, Marsh.

The catch could have looked very easy but the reaction time was very less for Sachin to get the hold of that ball. Indian team continue to celebrate as they have got the 3rd Australian wicket within 15 overs which is their success despite the quick scoring rate.

Turbunator Puts Aussie in Check - Hussey Dismissed.

husseyouto.jpg

Very soon after, Hussey shocked all the Aussie fans. He became the victim to Harbhajan's beautiful doosra. Hussey was forced to play the delivery & the ball just kissed the blade of the bat & Dhoni made no mistake in taking that sharp catch.

Indian team gathered together once again to celebrate the wicketfall. After getting 4 Aussie wickets, people in dressing room finally had some smile in their face. Michael Clarke was put into huge pressure because of the wicket falls in other end. Haddin joins Clarke.

Wicket Number 5 - Haddin Returns Back To Pavilion!

wkt5.jpg

After seeing that pitch had something for spinners, Dhoni took a very huge risk in bringing Yusuf Pathan to bowl. But that rewarded too.

Yusuf Pathan tempted Hadded with a loose delivery outside offstump & Haddin slips into the trap. Haddin goes well forward & plays a loose drive & the ball goes to the hand of one of the best fieldsmen - Gambhir. He makes no mistake in taking the catch.

What's happening? :siren Aussies have fell like pack of cards. Noise from Indian spectators started to grow at an alarming rate & it's very obvious to expect that after getting half of the Aussie men back to the pavilion.

Scorecard After 18 Overs

scorecard.jpg

Not good looking for Aussies, but their only plus - Clarke still survives on the field. Anything can happen till this man stays. Can Indian bowlers continue to surprise Aussie men? Can Clarke - Hopes give some hopes to Aussie scorecard? We will have to wait and see. Stay Tuned :)

Aus : 117/5( 18 Overs )
M.Clarke : 21*
J.Hopes : 0*

S. Marsh : 44 Dismissed by Zaheer
D. Hussey : 5 Dismissed by Harbhajan
B. Haddin : 10 Dismissed by Yusuf Pathan.

Can Aussies survive this collapse?
