India getting 5 wickets is good. Hope they remove clarke soon and even update the other story this weekend itself bhai:)

Yesterday before my sleep, I updated this story, my career story and the wrestling story - 3 in 1. :) Anyways, you can expect the rest of Aussie innings update today as well.

Finally India have their luck. Have to say that Brad Haddin dismissal was a really important for us and now we should think to get rid of Australia as soon as possible.

Great presentation. :)

Fortune turn-around there for the Aussies.Nice update, loved this story.I had looked at this one before starting my story to get some tips.AC09 screenies look good as well.

India Vs Australia - End of 50 Overs

With Aussies struggling to get the momentum going, Hopes and Clarke had very huge pressure on their shoulders. Dhoni's smart captaincy in shuffling the bowlers - spinners & pacers might have brought some reward(wickets @ regular intervals) for Indian team, but is that enough for the Indian team to get into the finals of this series? :what

It's to be noted that England have won a game against India & England almost pulled away from Aussies as well. So Aussies and English team are well ahead of India in terms of NRR as well. If India need to get into the finals - THEY HAVE TO DOMINATE THIS MATCH!

Hopes & Clarke - Some Damage Control to Aussie Innings.

clarkehopespartnership.jpg

Clarke took the complete control of the Indian bowling attack. He rotated strikes & smashed/punished the bad ones as well at regular intervals. Indian pacers continued to struggle in getting their momentum correct. Dhoni continued to have tough time with his bowlers, but the partnership made the opponents clueless.

After Marsh's dominance, Aussies finally managed to create another twist in the balance of this game. But it didn't last long. Yes, Hopes disappointed all Aussie fans.

Hopes shatters the Good-Looking partnership.

Indian team managed to get rid for Hopes by their brilliant fielding display. It was when Hopes & Clarke looked for a double, a deep throw from boundary ropes reached Dhoni's gloves perfectly & outcome was - WICKET! Hopes was miles away from the safe zone & Indian team continued to celebrate this wicket.

Though bowling department continues to be a worry for Indian team, fielding did not let them down. There were many instances of hardwork in their fielding, but it was just the matter of time which clicked in Hopes' wicket.

Useful Innings at RIGHT time!

Clarke also celebrated his fifty and received a huge applause from Aussie fans. His matured innings have given a good confidence to Aussie team in having some good score on the board. It's to be noted that, Indian team is not that much successful in chasing down the 200+ scores on Aussie wicket.

Handful runs to Aussies team - Adds frustration to Indian team.

Clarke and North, still managed to frustrate the bowlers. North, in particular, played his role in supporting Clarke very well. Despite the 6 wickets loss in the scorecard, Aussies remained unstoppable. :facepalm

Clarke's responsible innings impressed many spectators & it remained as a treat to watch his batting power. Ishant - Pathan - Yusuf - Yuvraj - Sachin - Harbhajan, plenty of options were tried by Dhoni but the partnership continued to do it's rescue role perfectly.

Two crucial breakthroughs at Right time!

North & Johnson were dismissed in similar passion in successive overs. However, North became the victim of spin while Johnson was for pace. This brought Aussies to 249/8 but, still Clarke remained as a 'DEMOLITION' man. His quick fire after his fifty managed to take Aussies past 275 runs.

276 All OUT!

allout.jpg

Indian bowlers cleverly utilized the opportunity of taking the remaining two wickets of tailenders. Yes, the last two tailend batsmen remained clueless to the blockhole delivery of Pathan & as a result, Aussies were all out.

Can India chase this down?

summary.jpg

Have Aussies batted their full 50 overs, it would have been a dominating story for Aussies. Anyways still, 275 plus on this track is not going to be easy for Indian team. As mentioned above, Indian team have never been comfortable in chasing big totals on Aussie tracks.

Clarke received standing applauses when the men in yellow walked back to the dressing room for change of innings. Only plus point for Indian team - They took all the 10 wickets without which, there would have been another 350+ score for chasing like what happened in WC2003 finals. :p

Stay tuned to find more on Indian chasing. :)

Ind : 0/0( 0 Overs )
S. Tendulkar : 0* (0)
V. Sehwag : 0(0)

India require 276 runs in 40 Overs to QUALIFY for Finals

Wow! fantastic update bro.
But chasing in 40 overs is bit difficult what I feel after seeing the Australian Batting!
But If Sehwag and Sachin kick start, it may happen:spy

Michael Clarke played very well as usual. If anyone would have supported him from other end it could have been a different situations. Now time for Sachin and Sehwag to play a big innings.

Awesome presentation as always. :hpraise :)

It is going to be difficult for the Indians no matter how good a start they get. But yeah, if Sehwag gets going they can do it. Still, pretty tough ask.

Clarke was excellent and Marsh was fine too but not much besides that
276, shouldn't be that hard, just 5.5 per over
Australia were unlucky with the wickets, good luck

Brilliant update Suren bhai, I think India can chase down 276 and will win the game. Aussies were 246 for 8 and I feel the Indians gave away too many runs for two wickets. Anyways good bowling by Pathan and nice to see Sachin get a wicket after long time. Clarke played really well but unlucky he missed out his century.

Anyways this update has really inspired me to use AC 09 for my story. Thanks a lot Suren bhai. :hpraise

Well, you can expect this story to go back to Classic & ever-rocking EA Cricket 2005 again. Absence of replay feature in AC09 & complexity in installing patches & less user friendliness in AC09 have made me to loose interest in AC09.

In EA 05, I always find it very realistic in all aspects except for the ground atmosphere where AC09 gains upper hand.

Why not C07 bhai?

C07's gfx are lot better than C05 and our modders have got the same toughness in gameplay:).
