R.S : Hello and Welcome to the Presentation ceremony for the second test match between India and SouthAfrica which has ended up in a draw. Both the teams played well though some unlikely things happened on Day5 for SouthAfrica.

R.S : Ok, lets go into the presentation now.. Firstly, i like to have SouthAfrican skipper on the stage please to have some words with us.

R.S : Well, are you contented with the match result?

The very first day after loosing toss, we were bit disappointed as it was great fresh conditions to bat first.. And with the things that went in last few days, we are contented to draw this game which is what we were looking to achieve after the huge score posted by India in first innings.

R.S : Also, apart from loosing the toss, the things were not going in a right way for the bowlers in first two days... Is it becos of the nature which pitch didnt assist bowlers or bowlers were occupied with negative mindset of loosing the toss?

Actually, the pitch made the bowlers to bend their backs very hard. Added to this, Indian team played well too. Dravid and Tendulkar showed their experience in this international cricket. With flat nature of the pitch, rain of runs is an expected thing. So we had to maintain our patience level till we got the batting chance.

R.S : With the series now on 1-0, whats your opinion on next game?

The visitors have been playing well right from the start of this tour. Its not gonna be a easy task but we are looking forward to the challenge to keep us safe in this series. :cool:

R.S : Now before calling the Indian captain, i like to announce the man of the match award too.

Its none other than the Indian skipper himself. It was a fantastic performance with the bat in both the innings and hence, Rahul Dravid is our man of the match for this test.. Well, Dravid, can you now come to the stage please after collecting the man of the match trophy, to have few words with us please.

R.Dravid, Indian Skipper

R.S : So Dravid, firstly congrads for getting this MOTM award.. Can you tell us about how you enjoyed ur batting?

Thanks.. Well, the flat conditions did not make any problems for batting. The ball was coming onto the bat very nicely and it was bit comfortable to judge the line correct and rotate it around. It was a great track to bat on.

R.S : Well, as a captain, did you think that you can win this game especially after the declaration in first innings?

Yes, we did had a chance of trying to get them all out before follow-on.. Just when we were focusing on that, rain interrupted and taken away one full day almost which had given better relaxation to opponents from pressure. Without that rain interruption, we did have chance of making this game.

R.S : Rain did have crucial effect on spinners in gripping the ball. And once again, in the last session, it started with three quick wickets.. did you think at that point of time that you can still make it.. and what made you to choose Sourav to open the bowling?

Well, regarding Sourav's bowling, it was a team decision. We didnt expect anything from him other than keeping the line straight and accurate.. and he has done a brilliant job too in bowling especially in second innings. Inspite those three wickets which went in quick succession, one session is never going to enough for bowling out the opposition especially the side which have very good middle/lower order.

R.S : So any change in plans for next game?

Its a very important game for us.. we are in the situation, " Must Win " to win the away series. Winning a home side is never going to be easy.. We have to make sure that we continuing play good cricket and lets see what happens.

Hello and a very warm welcome to StarSports again for the third and final test from Cape Town. Its known already that, this test is going to be a series decider... If India Wins, they are going to grab this series.. If the home team wins, they wud stay safe by levelling the series.. If the match ends in draw, then, visitors are again the favourites. So its going to be an important match for both the teams to give their more than 100% in this match.

The climate is looking good in general for this test to proceed without interruptions.. but we had to wait and see what the weather/Pitch report says which will be at the time of toss. At this fresh moment, we will look at how the teams have prepared themselves for this crucial test match.

Can Team India do it ???

Well, based on the performance till the second test, Indian team's performance is getting better and better day by day. Some struggles in practice match at first.. then in first test, it got better with a great win.. it still was growing better till the rain interrupted in second test. Its evident from the last session of Day5 where India threatened SA inspite of match heading towards a sure draw.

The main strength of this team seems to be batting in which there are plenty of experience speaks in presence Tendulkar,Dravid and Ganguly. Apart from the experience, talents from Yuvraj,Dhoni and Karthik are also playing a vital role which makes the entire batting line up to look very strong.

In bowling department, well, the fast bowling needs to improve.. But with typical Cape Town conditions, which is likely to assist spinners a bit more, India should have upper hand marginally in this test if it turns out to be the same spinner friendly conditions.

Overall, teamIndia is expected to display a great fight for this trophy which is very important for the team in terms of away records.

Home Team ~ Fighting for Pride!!!

The situation for SouthAfrican team is very critical. They are under pressure with lagging behind in the series 0-1. The home team have to give more than 100% to win this test and level this series. The home team's performance is not upto the expected level though there were some crucial rescuers like Pollock in the first test & Boucher in the second test.

The batting department which sounded strong for the visitors, is bit inconsistent when comes to the home team. Smith,Gibbs and Kallis need to get rooted themselves firmly and attack the opponents to create pressure among opponents. Especially batsmen like Kallis need to play a huge role by making massive scores which is what SA badly needs. In bowling department, there is a quality pace attack from Pollock,Nel and Ntini. But still, there needs to be some balance in batting which will probably take SouthAfrica to climb the ladder of victory.

Overall, the home team is expected to maintain their pride by winning this test inspite of the great pressure on the entire team.

With both the teams hoping to have their best time in Cape Town, the first one hour is always going to be very crucial.
