India's Tour of South Africa Dec 21 - Jan 22

This sucks for SA. That definitely is a shock retirement.

KL Rahul has been named ODI captain for the SA series with Bumrah as the vice captain! Not excited big time yet about KLR's ascendancy to VC/stand-in captaincy, but happy to see Bumrah getting leadership responsibility. Among the bowlers after Ashwin, Bumrah is the guy who can be a leader (like how Zaheer Khan was, when he played).

Since we are coming back to play in Jo'burg, I feel this would be the right time to upload this over here. :)

I'd have been happier had they instituted Bumrah as captain with KL as his deputy. Well, it is, what it is!

Match day today.

India has the chance to create history by winning this one.

The SA playing XI is... questionable.

Ohhh WTF!

Bloody Hell - KLR captain! Couldn't have asked for a worse start to the year. A man with zero credentials leading India- this is absolute mockery. Hope Rahul flunks badly and India lose by a huge margin here

The Indian captaincy isn't something that can be offered on a tray of sweets. An Indian captain needs to be respected, Rahul hardly walks the talk and am sure wouldn't command the respect of the side. Sheer ridiculousness here.

And he chooses Vihari over Shreyas. Classic South Indian lobby coming into play now!

Captaincy pressure making Rahul a bit too defensive?

Yorkshire really are a disgrace, first the racism scandal and now they've stolen 10mph from Duanne Olivier!
