India's Tour of South Africa Dec 21 - Jan 22

The DRS saga returns... I personally feel there was some edge even though the bat was on the ground.

more Drs drama! :D

I think there was a second spike there which suggested ball hitting the edge, but the third umpire is obviously pissed off by Kohli ;)

where is hotspot?

Keegan Petersen has been exceptional in the series, man of the series for me. Congratulations SA, well deserved win, turning off now.

You guys need to calm down. This is not for the first time where DRS have created doubts. It's just we are at the receiving end now unlike previous occasions where we equally got benefitted.

India's problem in these 2 matches was lack of ability to be able to keep the pressure on the Proteas batsmen unlike South Africa who did everything right. And honestly South Africa had a better bowling line-up so no surprises why they dominated the batters more than what Indian bowlers did.

ya. India lost this match with the bat and I think Rahane and Pujara need to be shown the door.

Shreyas Iyer has got a raw deal. I thought he should have played at Joburg and here.

Yes the gods want Indian bowlers to get bowleds and lbws not catches. :D

Expected results, It was a bouncy track. Good to see South Africa is getting back to touch with a team that is in phases of re-building. Seems a different team, they had a history of choking while chasing runs. Peterson is the find, what a talent he is.

Regarding DRS, Virat took it out of proportion, such things are part of game. Elgar got out after a few runs after that as well.

South Africa's transition rather went smoothly. With this series going by it is safe to assume that the Proteas are back to their best. As for India they went from best in the world to a side that lost a lot of respect and perhaps it shows that they really had to have a hard look at themselves. No more chest thumping now!!! It doesn't matter the quality of the side, if your feets are not grounded you are going to struggle.

With KL Rahul as ODI Captain I’m predicting a 3-0 defeat for India.:facepalm

South Africa comprehensively beat Australia in the ODI series at home 3-0 courtesy Janneman Malan & Kyle Verreynne. India were equally terrible against the same Australian team in Australia just a bit over a year ago. So to expect anything other than India losing 3-0 is going to be tough!

ODIs now seem almost meaningless what with World Test championship on the one hand and the upcoming T20 World Cup on the other. Also all league cricket is mostly T20. Maybe time to retire the ODI format completely?
