You missed couple of 'O's there.

Kohli is finished!

Should just retire now.

Dada also agrees :D.

Good day for us. KL and Mayank gave us a dream start. Pujara disappointed again and just when you think Kohli is looking good, he gets dismissed :facepalm

Now I wait with anxiety and hope to god we dont fold up for 325.

Interesting day for India. Good start to a South African tour, dont think this has ever happened in my living memory.

Despite my obvious dislike of KLR, the man has done a good job. What definitely clicked for him was the opening partnership with Mayank, a player, who has partnered him many a time and thereby the understanding between the two.

The onus though would be on the likes of Pujara, Kohli and Rahane. Kohli looked good before he got out and that's something that may rankle him in this series. Of it does, be prepared to see a new captain leading India in the next series. Rahane and Pujara, probably their last chance with the likes of Shreyas and Vihari breathing down their necks.

Decent Day 1of the the Boxing Day Test. We've had such days in the past, only to throw it away later. Hoping this doesn't happen this time round.

Should change his name to Bairstow
Bairstow atleast does well in LOIs. Don't remember Kohli doing the same atleast in last one year or so.

Even the great Sachin went through it and he bounced back. So I won't be surprised to see Virat Kohli tear apart bowling attacks once he scores well!

Kohli's average in ODI's is 3 lower than Bairstow over the same two year period. His T20i average is 23 higher than YJB.

Seems we are so used to Kohli being the best in business that if he does play like average players he seems to be doing poorly.

If we compare Sachin's career with Kohli's as a timeline it would go down as

1989≈ 2008
1990-92 ≈ 2010-11
1992-94 ≈ 2012
1994 ≈ 2013
1995 ≈ 2014
1996-98 ≈ 2016
1999- 2001 ≈ 2017
2001-2004 ≈ 2018-19
2004-2007 ≈ Present
2007- 2011 ≈ Future
