Sometimes I feel that Indian fans like us make up too much of an issue of not dismissing the tail early forgetting the fact that they are better people to hold their bats unlike Indian bowlers. The issue isn't with the bowling but their ability to bat longer.

Sometimes I feel that Indian fans like us make up too much of an issue of not dismissing the tail early forgetting the fact that they are better people to hold their bats unlike Indian bowlers. The issue isn't with the bowling but their ability to bat longer.

Exactly my point. India doesn't have the luxury of bowlers who could bat a bit apart from one or two players. Jasprit Bumrah & Shardul Thakur scoring runs in England was absolute good for us talks about how much we are starved of such players.

Yep, one reason why bowling all rounders or bowlers who can smash it occasionally get ridiculously good contacts in the IPL.

Finding one or two seam bowlers who can regularly chip in at 7 or 8 is the next big thing for India. Getting Hardik Pandya fit is one option but the lack of a second option is a big problem.
