International Cricket Captain 2010

fearsome tweak. Guess I'm not getting the game unless we go somewhere else and find it and can convince my parents to buy it. Wonder if Gametraders have it in stock.

Whats the real point in simulating anyway (apart from T20s who noone cares about) and maybe an ODI or 2 in a 5/7 match ODI series.

I only play Test matches, I can't be arsed playing limited overs. I stick to the real cricket only.

If you don't care about them, does it matter if you win/lose the matches you skip then?

It affects the players form,

Either way I think you guys are missing my main point. This game is 99% ICC09, the only difference I spot is the inclusion of Aussie domestic and maybe some minor bug tweaks.

Its not a new game, thus I will not buy it.

/end rant

It's like 30 NZ dollars, while a proper new game is like 100 NZ dollars, which is why I'm prepared to buy it.
If they were charging 100 NZ dollars each year I wouldn't buy it, but really you're only buying a new game every three years, and since I normally only buy it every two years, I'm spending 100 NZ dollars every six years on it, which I'm more than happy to do..

I have a credit card so I just use that, but you could ask your parents for a visa debit card? They can be used online but only if you have credit on it like a normal eftpos card.

I think he's not down as one because he's only bowled in T20s so far. But we did tell them to fix it in the patch

Anyway. I'm feeling great. I got the game yesterday when my dad went up to Wollongong yesterday and I bugged him to go look for it (You can see how desperate I was) so he went and had a look for it and actually found it. So I have started a game with Durham and New South Wales. Signed de Villiers on my NSW save and signed Vettori on my Durham save. btw, where are the save games kept.

What is really frustrating me is that Mitchell Starc is a right arm bowler in the game. I remember watching him on his debut when he took 2/24 off 10 over's with 4 maidens and was really unlucky not to have more. Anyway, back to my point. He is a left armed bowler and it came up with right arm on the screen. I thought WTF, he's a left armer. It shows up on cricinfo that he's a right arm fast medium but if you look down at the profile part, it says.

Mitchell Starc is a tall left-arm fast bowler who made his first class-debut in 2008-09.

They probably got that from Cricinfo then.

There's a sticky over on the childish things forum that details where the save files are based on what version you have. I can't remember exactly where they are but its in your application data folder somewhere.

I've found quite a few NZ stuff ups with the CD version, I'll post them over at the official forum today.

Just realised Neil Wagner isn't on this game (well not for New Zealand anyway). I realise he doesn't qualify until next year but surely he could be added to the game and just not be able to be selected until November 2011?
