after bowling surrey out for 485 included a thorpe hundred and a ahmed 7-for sussex got out for 275 (beating there day one total by 16) they only had a lead of 50 surrey are now at 47 for none lets hope in sussex's case they pick up a wicket before surrey pick up the last 3
well sussex did not pick up a wicket and lost in 5 minutes so sussex lost by 10 wickets and got 3 pts (thanks to some poor bowling) MOM went to H.Singh with 10-163 all up me thinks it shouldv'e gone to G.Thorpe 147 and Sussex moves into 6th postion
lancashire made 428 all out with a great 100 from North
Somerset replied with 488 all out with smith first of all making 103 and 124 from laraman.even nixon mclean at 10 made a solid 55 as the taill pushed the sabres to a lead of 60 runs.
lancashire were put under pressure by somerset but with the rain delay in the 1st day there was not enough time as lancashire finished on 183 for 7.
MOM was M North and Lancashire and Somerset shared the points with 10 each.
gloustershire all out for 225 this oddly looks like my sussex game but hampshire are 30 for 1 special note many thanks to S.Ahmed for a nice 42 to help me get over 200 and for getting the wicket of Brown
i envy you treva
at the end of day 2 Hampshire were out for 269 with KP making a century from no.4 just like Thorpe! with Ball picking up Gloustershire most wickets with a 4-56 and Gloustershire are 125 for 4 with Adshead on 48* and the new guy Tate on 7
after the thrid day gloustershire were all out for 268 thanks to 3 half centurys meanwhile hampshire look like winning (surpise surpise) as they are 132 for 1 with M.Brown being the first wicket to fall this time to Chandana and now we take you back to live action with Hampshire chasing 93 runs for victory with 9 wickets in hand
Hampshire win by 7 wickets with the top scorers for Hampshire being J.Adams 65 and KP with 59* hmm what is it with opposition number 4 batsman MOM S.Warne with 9-142 all up with Gloustershire picking up 4 points and Hampshire picking up 17 points and with that loss Gloustershire move into 5th on the ladder and surpise surpise suusex are in 6th though they have 4 points
Worcestershire made 321 & 359 on the way to beating Derbyshire easily.
Derbyshire made 229 and 108 with very ordinary batting from the top order.
the pitch was very much a seamers wicket but derby should have better better.
Worcstershire took 17 points and derbyshire took 4 with worcestershire winning by 343 runs.
ther was a small consolation for Moss as he picked up the MOM award for derby.
