International Premier League

Lol, firstly I thought of having a 15 men squad but because of that rule of having 6 players of the country you are owner of, I changed the squad number to 18. As far as your other question is concern, you can pick 6 local players during the draft but make sure you do that. :p

@Haarithan and Iridium - So, Haarithan has England and Iridium has West Indies and no need to be sorry about. I'm glad that all the teams are sold so quickly. :)

I'll post the draft details in a while. :)

Iridium, you need to tell me which city you want from West Indies and please give it a suffix as well. :)

Sorry mate all the teams are sold now but if you want I can put your name in the reserves.

So is this gonna be abbreviated as IPL ?? No , no , not again . :p
Let's have it as INPL :D

It is replacing IPL, as it is mentioned in the first post. So, yes, it is still IPL without BCCI's involvement. :spy

I thought we could first dibs on players from their respective countries.

I wanted to have the draft similar to my last league, where each team can retain 6 players of the country they are owner of but if I do the same in this league, it wont be fair. Now, if any owner wants he can straight away go for Sachin in the draft and we never know, Sachin might not play for Indian team in this league. :p

or we could just base the league on a global base, that would make it fair or atleast decrease the amount of locals to 4.

I don't mind changing a few rules about this league. That is, if the majority of the owners want some changes to be done.

If we cant retain some main players from our country then the idea of city(country) based teams would not make sense. Instead I would suggest you to reduce the number of players to 3 or 4. So that not all good players are taken away.

Yeah, that is a good idea. If all the owners agree with that, they can start retaining 4 players from the country they are owner of.
