after Guptill unsold, big bid on Nathu Singh & Mustafizur Rahman surprise me... so far there stats is good...

Well, like some people might wonder that Nathu Singh grabbed a big money, I'm not even surprised. I remember reading few articles on him when he just came into lights, but it's been few months. Since then he has played in domestic T20 league and delivered some quality performances from Rajathan. I heard he can consistently bowl at 140kmph speed and sometime touches 145kmph during his spells. And he's just 20 by the way. I hope this player emerges as a new Indian bowling sensation. IPL would really help him get some attention. I had completely forgotten about him before the auctions, now it's really great to see him managing to get sold. Price just doesn't matter. All it means to him at this stage is improvement. He needs to be given chances in the IPL and he has to perform well there. Hopefully, MI's bowling coach Shane Bond will help him with his pace and skills when he joins Mumbai Indians for the tournament.

That's like the Hobart Tigers of IPL. The squad composition is just fantastic, they'll be really tough to beat.

I tried to alternate the batting order, sort of hitter-nurdler-hitter-nurdler to make it as flexible as possible.

But the real point of making that squad was to point out how bloody stupid all these franchises are being. And it's not even like there's one that's being sensible about it - all eight of them are signing players for the kind of money that should be able to fund an entire squad.
 
Seriously who decides Delhi's picks in the auction. They have an absolute brainfart in the auctions and this is not the first time they have done this. They actually retained some very good players and still had the most money left going into the auction. They could have built a really strong team but their brainless auction picks just messed up things for them again.

Again, really feel for Guptil there because even though he is not strong against spin, he would have definitely added some value to any team based on his current form.
