Hawthorn Hawks are looking to win the Premiers and they haven't done that since 1991 so Alistair Clarkson will have to have a good season in tow to get into the final series and hopefully into the AFL Grand Final and try to win over the really supportive fans who would like to win a Premier for thier team.

Key Players for Hawthorn

Lance 'Buddy' Franklin
Cyril Rioli

These two will be instrumental in Hawthorn chase to win the premiers.
Lance we all know can get 100 goals a season so he's is the main dangerman at Full Forward to get the goals.

Cyril Rioli has not made is debut yet for the Hawks but he is tipped to be a future star and he's been penciled in as a forward pocket but he's more likely to be on the bench but will get some time on the field.

Press: Alistair what are the chances of Cyril of getting a start against Melbourne in 1 week.

AC: It is likely of him playing but we may put him on the bench.

Press: What position will he play in Clarkson.

AC: No Comment sir.

Press: How is Buddy at the moment

AC: He looks really determined and wants to play and get as many goals as he can against Melbourne and destroy them.

Press: Thanks mate. Also Fox Footy is back and its first game is Hawthorn v Melbourne see you there.

Urghh change the colour of the text, hurts my eyes. Buddy is the star for the Hawks and should do well. He won't get 100 goals but he'll do well.

Hawks demolished by the Dockers

Dockers recorded a thumping win over the Hawks at the Subiaco Oval. Which the Hawks were beaten 135-46 in a thumping win which coach Alistair Clarkson has called the performance 'Diabolical' while the Dockers were rampaging with 19 goals and 21 behinds. While sorry Hawks scored 6 goals and 10 behinds. While Captain Matthew Pavlich scored 6 goals and Jeff Farmer with 5, for the Hawks Lance Franklin scored 3 goals in the rout with a goal for Rioli in his second game for Hawthorn. Lance Franklin after the match described the performance as disturbing after the win against Melbourne* ''We played really well against Melbourne and we were on a bit of a high but no we we are back down to earth after the game here. Matty played really well and Freo deserved to win but i was really happy with my performance but the lads didn't keep up. I hope we can win our next game and get back to our best.

The Kangaroos upset the odds
Hawthorn have been beaten by North Melbourne 119-50 in a game which the Hawks were supposed to won. North Melbourne started the game brightly by leading the first quarter 31-17 then it went downhill for the Hawks with North Melbourne scoring 4 goals to Hawthorn's 0. In the 3rd quarter there were 10 goals with the Hawks scoring 5 with Roughead scoring 3 goals. Danger man Lance Franklin was marked superbly by the Kangaroos defense with 'Buddy' scoring only 1 goal in the first quarter. It was a disappointing effort, with no one wanting to speak to us at the moment, Clarkson must be very unhappy with his squad and Crawford giving his team mates a roasting then taking them to the pub :p.

Hawks lose in a low scoring game

Hawthorn have lost their 3rd game on the trot with a 59-79 loss at the Aurora Stadium. Hawthorn made a good start to the game and were leading at Half Time, 27-24 but with 4 goals in the 3rd quarter killed off the Hawks chances at a win, with Brett Burton scoring 2. Lance Franklin had another quiet game albeit scroing 3 goals but never really got going. For Adelaide their was no big goal machine for them as goals were spread all round through midfielder.

Alistair Clarkson: I was very disappointed with my side performance. At half time i though that we had clinched a win but our side got lazy and didn't perform to out normally very high standards. To get to the finals we need to win games something which we're not doing, there is 18 games left but we need to hit top form to clinch the flag we've all been desperate to win.

Hawthorn Best: Birchall, Guerra, Sewell, Roughead, Crawford, Dew, Franklin, Dawson
Hawthorn Goals: Franklin 3, Rioli 1, Dew 1, Birchall 2

How can you lose lol? I managed to get to the finals every year (lost to Geelong ) on TAR.

Mani i think he is using footy fanatic. you lose way more in that game except it is a much funner game to play. Not necessarily to make stories with though lol.

Anyway great story so far, unlucky on the loss looking forward to future updates.
