Australia have made no change to their line-up this week, with their match with South Africa last week. I think this will be a good idea, as Australia have won the last 3 matches, and with the inclusion of Brad Hodge last week, it looks a much more dominant side then it did at the start of the series.
The two opening batsmen have made some runs, only with Hodge coming in last week, Phil Jaques has been the surprise packet for Australia picking up a load of runs. Then Ponting who has had a poor summer, and Hussey and Clarke who made that good partnership last week.

Their bowling attack is solid with Hilfenhaus and Lee standing up in the attack, but it has been the Aussie spinners that have taken the wickets this time around, Hogg, Hodge, Clarke and White are all topping the Australian wickets. Hogg leading the series

A very well built team. They will have a strong fight on their hands. They have only made the one change since they faced the Aussies last and that is with I. Armersinghe coming into the line-up. They have a solid middle order, their 2 opening batsmen will need to fire if they are going to post a big total. Australia have always found a way to knock over the first wicket within 2-3 overs in this series, so Sri Lanka don't need that to happen today.

OMG!!! Lankans in the middle of Aussie fire. Aussies on fire and i thing they will just kill the Lankans. Hoping Vaas and Kapu get some quick runs. Haddin is having a great day behind the stumps.

Loving the unique presentation Roo. :clap

35/4 is not good at all for Sri Lanka and although they have started relatively quickly, they have lost vital wickets. Sri Lanka will be lucky to make around 100 if Ponting keeps up his strange tactic.

Brilliant presentation, Roo, graphics and writing are very good.

Aussies are gonna win this for sure. Lankans have tajen some quick wickets but no way they are in the match. Good presentation and writing Roo.:clap

Early wicket for the aussies put them in the match. They gonna win for sure. Nice update Roo.

Thanks for the comments guys. Updates coming later today :happy

Poor score from the Lankans and I'm not surprised Australia have taken a 1-0 lead. The total was never gonna be too hard to chase down and Hodge put in another impressive display. Great captains knock from Punter too, made the chase comfortable.

Brilliant presentation Roo, I love it all :)

Great start for Australia, they have the Sri Lankans on the rope. Great story mate, nicely presented and easy to read. Keep it up mate.

Australia vs Sri Lanka - 2nd Final @ Sydney

Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Sydney cricket ground, where we are about to bring you the action between Australia and Sri Lanka the 2nd Final, from the best of 3.
Here is the scenario, if Australia win this match, then they are the 20/20 Champions. If Sri Lanka win, then they have to play another match to decide who is the champions.

Australia have been in some fine form since loosing their 1st 2 opening matches of this series, but have been very good since, and winning games by very easy margins. They have out played both South Africa and Sri Lanka throughout the whole series, but Sri Lanka will be looking to get back at them today, and try to keep themselves alive in this contest. This has been a wonderful and entertaining a series so far, so hopefully for the supporters sake, that the match is won by Sri Lanka and we have to meet another match next week, but for Aussies fans, they'll be looking to win this match and crown themselves the champs.

Lets just have a look at these 2 teams that will be fighting in battle this afternoon, firstly the home side. There is no change to this side that won last week, and no surprise there either. They have been playing some wonderful cricket lately, and they are perfectly even throughout the whole squad. They have a even balance throughout this side, and if one player is done, there is generally one player that stands up, and plays a blinder.
Here is the squad......

4. Michael Hussey
5. Michael Clarke
6. Brad Haddin
7. Shane Watson
8. Brad Hogg
9. Brett Lee
10. Stuart Clark
11. Ben Hilfenhaus

And now let's have a look at the Sri Lankan side. Once again, there is no change to this team either from last weeks. They need their opening batsmen to get off to a good start if they are going to be any chance in winning this match. We all know their middle order is pretty ordinary, so their opening batsmen have a hell of a job to do, if they want to keep themselves alive in this tournament.
Here is the Sri Lanka team for this match....

So there we are people. There are our two teams, and i have information that Australia have won the toss, and Captain Ricky Ponting has elected to bat first.
So let's go down to ground level, and start with the begin of play. Brad Hodge and Phil Jaques are walking to the crease, as the Sri Lankan fielders spread out.
Stay tuned.......
