Batsman that received just one bid.

@Wavelberry is into double figures with this double signing.

@sonimrajk has also added two to the Spartans.

@ameyp9 and his Panthers are bolstered by an aggressive batsman.

We have all enjoyed laughing at @Dutch but there perhaps should an investigation of Trump's Fringe. @Chris Swift might be getting impeached with some of this spending.

Speaking of @Dutch he has signed another one. Also up to 15 players.

After the disappointment of missing out on Mark Wood, @Short Leg Cricket will have to make do with this dimunitive batsman.

@NePtuNe Gaming has pulled in a number of players today.

@gillyboy04 is one no longer catching up with the pack. Two openers.

Batsman that received two bids.

It was a head-to-head between @Chris Swift and @Short Leg Cricket for the services of this West Indian opener.

English wunderkind Ollie Pope was overlooked first time round, now two teams were after him. It was @DalePlaysCricket and @Wavelberry.

@NePtuNe Gaming and @sonimrajk both made bids for Australian international Travis Head. One bid was larger. By about W$T 19.

THAT BRINGS US TO OUR NEXT TIE BREAKER

Shreyas Iyer was sought after by both @DalePlaysCricket and @Bigby Wolf but they both only wanted to pay W$T 85. So Shreyas must be cut in two or a winner selected from two random balls. As you were on the receiving end last time, @Short Leg Cricket , please choose between purple and yellow to decide his fate.

Players who received a lot of bids.

Two players received three bids. They recently fought it out in South Africa but they were fighting it out for people's imaginary money today.

The England captain. Joe Root. Attracted bids from @ahmedleo414 @gillyboy04 and @Short Leg Cricket and all of them were in three figures and there was just W$T 7 between them.

The former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis was involved in a tussel between @ahmedleo414 @passwordistaco and @sonimrajk Two bids were close but one was W$T 22 higher than the next best.

Now for the big one. No one could be bothererd with Gary Ballance in the first round and no one could be bothered with him this time. However, SIX teams were after Chris Lynn. The same number as Ben Stokes.

@ahmedleo414 missed out again with just 82 bid. @passwordistaco only went two higher with 84. @Bigby Wolf offered a little more at 87 but it still wasn't enough. @GuyIncognito went into the 90s but couldn't find the magic number. That left @NePtuNe Gaming and @Dutch. The winner would make it to a full 16 players. The loser would be left considering if a bid for Gary Ballance might be the safest bet in the future.

@Dutch you owe me big style.

Delighted to have got Kragg. Still got some work to do but that team is coming along nicely. Shame I missed out on Pope.

Darn I really wanted Chris Lynn to be a counterweight to having a load of old bollocks.

Might need to go for a Keaton now.

Wow I’ve missed a bit. Sorry for the late reply and keeping you waiting just on a walk to banish those World Cup memories the colour will be Purple btw.

Massive fist bumps in HQ with the signings of 3 batsman especially Joe Root !

Thanks for that !

I was trying to get Root and Philander and Hope and knew Root was 120 in my mind based on who was on the table. Problem was I wasnt sure how high Philander would go..and I really needed a bowler and good wicketkeeper batsman.

Would I have been alright with bid for Dorwich, Root and Philander?

I'm sure this was possible but didn't want to lose Philander as needed a right handed front line bowler.

Love the drafting concept you have devised, it makes you think it through!
