The streaming matches would be a toughie! It could take a a couple of days but I like the idea and am interested. Maybe sim the first two innings and then stream from there....? What we have stumbled on is taking on each other and streaming the AI vs AI. All we would a have to do is agree which set of players were to be used.
The AI vs AI contest is something that BigAnt could look into with more control over the game if they could, though I kind of like it by just watching.
I have really enjoyed the 20/20 stuff. Or just stay with the 20/20 stuff for further tournaments. I have used my Lockdown Tournament team to "practice" against some of my academy teams, it's been great fun.
Last night, I randomly chose West Indies vintage 1976 touring side, a great side led by Clive and put them in a T20 against my boys, needless to say though we batted well against, Andy Roberts, Michael Holding, Collis King and Wayne Daniel and did well, posting a very good score for T20, I thought maybe my warm up match and first match were just a blip.
Needless to say that I was wrong. Roy Fredricks in particular took us apart in one game with a little help from Viv, and Fredricks again and little Alvin Kallicharran tore us us apart again in the second game.
Was so tempted to stream it and wish I had, but what I learned is, I have a new opening batsman, and a superstar in the making who handled those pace legends very well and that my batting line up isn't too bad, just need to be in the right spots....
The AI vs AI has a lot more potential than "watching it" at home, pitting your AI team against person's AI team via streaming is brilliant!
I am sure if my "Fire In Babylon" side, took on those "Montreal Midgets" again, we'd do better and after the tourney if we don't meet again, we can get it on! (we really gave it away, I'm still recovering from that mighty collapse!)
I did on another note see an animation I'd never seen before, I watched my batsman smash a ball over the bowlers head toward the boundary, then saw a fielder run to the boundary with his back to my camera and take a running overhead catch...spectacular, never seen that
