Lord of the Rings Mafia - Town wins

He walked briskly with his staff in one hand. He wanted to meet the most mischievous hobbit among those in Minas Tirith, as he felt that the fool of a Took was up to something. And as soon as he reached his destination his suspicions were confirmed, althought it was not the hobbit he was expecting. The young lad was attempting to steal from a close friend of his. The wizard gave a stern telling off to the hobbit, and went back to his room.

So this is the bus driver at work?

That sentence is more to guide you onto the real character involved. Don't take anything from it roles wise.

Well I am not supposed to ask (and you're not supposed to answer :p) but if it was not the hobbit he was expecting, shouldn't this mean they were switched somehow? Or that the targeted hobbit (i.e. Peregrin Pippin Took?) had the ability to hide his identity/transform? I have no ideas other than that. Perhaps this is where my limited (and wiki-fed) knowledge restricts more speculation? I would like more interpretations by others.

This is the final thing I'll say on it. Ignore the context it implies, I merely added it so it didn't completely change the paragraph. That one sentence has no indications on what happened.

Doesnt that suggest that there is a bus driver somewhere in this game?

ok treva posted before me.

I'll leave it to others now. I mean, any further analysis.

Analyzing MaD's post, he didn't play very suspiciously it seems, except that comment 'you all should do it' and his defence was weak as well. He only lynched inactive players, and it doesn't seem that anybody specific associated themselves with MaD. I can't pick much out of MaD's posts therefore....

Only one question, possibly unfruitful:

Why was MaD consistently lamenting on the non-existence of a non-lethal night 0 after the day started?

So the person who has been poisoned must be protected by the doctor on night 2 or they will die? Is that how it works?

As others have said Gandalf roleblocks hobbit (I suppose it could be Saruman but unlikely). I'm confused by the "steal" line. If the hobbit is the thief that is quite a powerful role.

-------

Being The Dark Lord?s right hand man meant he was instructed to take out the biggest threat to Mordor and their attempt to rule Middle Earth. He had not slept, thinking of a way to disguise his attack on an equally clever opponent. He created a potion that would do the job and, when his target was distracted, slipped it into his goblet.

All he had to do now was wait and let it take effect.

Poisoner so someone will die tomorrow night unless protected? I thought the poisoner would be wormtongue but text suggests Saruman (who poisoned the mind of Thoeden).

-------

The day had not gone too well for him, what with the death of one of his best warriors. He set out to meet the man who had worn The One Ring for a small period of time in his absence and who had now become frail and weak. The Dark Lord saw him sleeping peacefully in his bed, talking to himself in his sleep.

The Lord of the Rings ensured that he would never wake again.

Where's Harry Potter when you need him? This confirms that the godfather is Sauron (not Gothmog).

The writeup has been decoded, I think. Losing Ray is a major blow, doubt he had a major role though. I don't really know who could be poisoned. Could be one of the two who have claimed (me or Bevab). Just assuming. And, I don't think a doc can cure a poisoned person. It is normally a healer who does that.

I remember when I was doctor in a previous Mafia I got told one of my roles was to heal any poisoned character's so I thought doc's do heal poisoned character's
