Okay, regarding the first paragraph. Its very helpful. We can find loads of townies here.

Gandalf, the roleblocker, roleblocks a townie, which is a hobbit. Accordingly the busdriver another townie, swaps the two hobbits, Merry and Pippin (if I am not mistaken). One of the hobbits was stealing something from the other one which means the hobbit who was stealing knows the identity of the other hobbit. The busdriver knows the identity of both the hobbits. THIS HOWEVER IS IF THE BUSDRIVER WAS INVOLVED KEEPING IN MIND TREVA HAS EDITED IT AGAIN so we cannot be sure

If the bus driver wasnt involved, Gandalf knows the identity of the hobbit he roleblocked, the hobbit that was roleblocked knows the identity of the other hobbit. I hope this makes sense.

What I am saying is. Gandalf knows identity of Merry/Pippin and Merry/Pippin knows the identity of the other one. And all of these are townies.

If the busdriver wasnt in play, Gandalf should play sensibly here because he knows who the thief is here and the thief most likely is going to be stealing peoples roles or stealing things from people. He should watch his posts as they may give him a direction.

If busdriver did indeed swap the hobbits, then Gandalf is looking at the other hobbit not the thief.

Lol I am not sure if the above makes sense. Can anyone clarify, I did waste some time writing it.

sheesh, this is a mess. So there are 4 hobbits left right? Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippen?

I'm guessing Frodo was the one poisoned, because they knew the doc was going to protect him that night, so they killed aray and poisened frodo, the doc needs to protect frodo again

Mountain of info? I pretty much figured Gandalf and hobbits were gonna be in the game and Sauron would be godfather. Someone got poisoned? Well that sucks but that's not gonna help us find mafia. People seem to be suggesting there could be some kind of hobbit mason group but if there is I doubt they're allowed to reveal it and nor should they. Culli has been so far under the radar I forgot he was even in the game, so it wasn't a random lynch.

But really I would love for you to wow me with your insights into the write-up that are going to help us find the mafia.

I think BKB's post is pretty insightful into analysing the writeup. Bus drivers are so annoying Treva's edits don't help though. The original post seemed like Gandalf was targeting Pippin though and then a bus driver interfered?

I also agree with Tom that it's likely that Bilbo wouldn't have had a major role if any; he's rather powerless in the books.

The poisoning will likely have been by Saruman, though it could feasibly the nazgul, though I doubt it.

It's so annoying how it's always someone like ARay or Abhas who goes on the first day though.

Zohaib's posts after the writeup are pretty weird I feel. Doesn't really add anything apart from being annoyed that we lost a townie, yet it would be pretty strange if we hadn't. Lynch: Zohaib

I think the lack of a counter-claim to Bevab is proof enough that he's who he says he is. He would have to be a pretty stupid mafia to claim as someone who is definitely in the game. I reckon the mafia are keeping him alive because he's not a good player so he won't go finding them and to keep people being suspicious of him.

I am not that experienced enough to analyse those write ups, as much as I tried to I couldn't find anything except someone being poisoned

You lynching me for posting something, even if it is weird, what about those people who haven't posted at all

And can someone please tell me what is a hobbit, watched the movie ages ago and can't remember?

It doesn't matter if you're not experienced enough, it almost seems as if you didn't want to analyse them because you know what happened and were afraid of giving too much away. And then you go and try and shift the blame from yourself by trying to discuss those who haven't posted much at all. And finally you try and hide this by saying you don't know much about the series at all. To me this is pretty scummy.

On the subject of bus drivers have a think about the two people we expected to be targeted and the two people who were targeted. Why would the mafia ignore Sam and Frodo?

Despite that the writeup is clear that Sauron set out to find Bilbo and it reads like they poisoned who they wanted to as well.
