Lord of the Rings Mafia - Town wins

Not much discussion has taken place over the last few pages. Colin, I'm actually not a fan of everyone role claiming at once. This lets the mafia's take the advantage and then they know which member has a important role and which doesn't. I really don't understand the logic behind this, you posted few pages earlier that at this point of the game, the townies will be more benefited if we all role claim but can you please post in detail how it will help us?

If you read my posts I never asked for a mass role claim. I asked for 4 people I was suspicious about to claim (2 of whom have done so I think). All the other role claimers have nothing to do with me and I even asked people to stop claiming and focus on the claims made.

Just checked my post. I asked 5 and 3 claimed. They didn't have to as there was no lynch pressure.

I understand why Hedger claimed, there was pressure on him due to his inactivity. Chewie and Tom both have role claimed as well. If there was no pressure on them, why did they role claim so early? I'd like Chewie and Tom both to answer this. We seriously need some discussion going, this is all so confusing at the moment.

I think we are hitting a point where we have absolutely no idea on who to lynch. I guess the wise idea would be for Tom to tell us exactly what he has, cause thats probably the weakest roleclaim we have heard.

But I'm not, and what I had to say was:
The night write-up when it said "the hobbit didn't stand a chance" could refer to being recruited, couldn't it? No-one died, yet that suggests something unpleasant happening to him without his consent. (Btw, of course that hobbit wasn't me lol)

I think Treebeard is a major character, as major as Theoden, and more major than Faramir, Eowyn, Arwen and the like.

No-one has mentioned Galadriel. She must be in this, definitely town and probably a power role.

I hope the big ugly (ie Sauron let's not be ambiguous lol) doesn't target me again. It would mean I don't get to play for very long. But don't help me or feel sorry for me townies. Protect Gandalf and Aragorn and the like.

Oh and that reminds me. As per my previous post, I don't believe the cult is inactive. And it was thoroughly 'scummy' of Ben to role claim without any pressure.

I disagree. Treebeard appears in TTT and is only involved in the destruction of Isengard. By contrast Faramir makes the choice to let the ringbearer go and rejects Boromir's and Denethor's approach. Eowyn as I said earlier kills the Witch King, a feat no man could do.
I agree with you on Arwen who had a very minor role in the books and whose role was expanded by the films.
I would be suspicious of anyone who claimed Galadriel; I have her down, like Eomer and Celeborn, as unlikely.

I still say that Maney is our safe bet for a lynch, but then again I doubt I have the support to carry the lynch forward
