Lord of the Rings Mafia - Town wins

You might have the support. If peope feel Tom's claim is legit and choose not to lynch him then I'd be prepared to lynch Maney.

Culli - 3 (Chewie, CG123, User2010)
Chewie - 1 (Spoobir)
Sachinfan98 - 1 (Aditya)
Highlander999 - 1 (Barmyarmy)
Maney2k9 - 1 (6ry4nj)

With 16 alive it takes 9 to lynch.

I hope the big ugly (ie Sauron let's not be ambiguous lol) doesn't target me again. It would mean I don't get to play for very long. But don't help me or feel sorry for me townies. Protect Gandalf and Aragorn and the like.

Oh and that reminds me. As per my previous post, I don't believe the cult is inactive. And it was thoroughly 'scummy' of Ben to role claim without any pressure.
Lynch:Maney2k9

FOS: SachinFan, ARay
Reason: they were the ones who pressured Bevab into role-claiming (along with Ben. Ben wasn't even satisfied with a character claim, and wanted more)

I haven't finished re-reading the entire thread - I'm only up to page 20 or something.

Yes and if we ever meet, remind me to 'thank' you properly. :rolleyes

As I have said time and again, I role-claimed early doors because I needed to be recruited. If ARay wasn't lynched, or if it had been someone else as Denethor, then I would have been.

And, as I have said, because I wasn't recruited, as Boromir, I've become Town-aligned, which makes sense because he is after all, part of the fellowship.

I think it's better for the sake of it that we lynch Culli. I don't see how he has helped us till this point. He isn't useful even if he's a townie at this stage. For Ben, I think there can be a possibility that he's the new leader or just normal townie as he says.

Now I think of it, I feel both Culli and Ben are safe bets. We don't really have anything to work from, do we?

Well, it's a big 'probably'. But, there's every chance they might be lying. This is better than actually lynching someone completely random. Who are your suspicions on, Colin?

Yes he is the Fellowship member who tried to steal the Ring ... basically, for the cult. If the cult is inactive, what is your explanation for the "hobbit never saw it coming". It doesn't relate to any other non-lethal night role that I can find.

Just saw the lynch post. Why are you sus of Tom?

Edit - It was for Colin.

I'm suspicious of Tom because of his claim. I went into a bit of detail before. Also because the night after he had posted how dangerous I might be to the town if I was mafia in an attempt to get my lynched I got poisoned.
I don't see myself as an early mafia target to kill unless Tom is mafia.

I would be suspicious of anyone who claimed Galadriel; I have her down, like Eomer and Celeborn, as unlikely.

I don't like this reasoning. If anyone is any of these characters, you are going to be suspicious of them without any reason? Unlikely doesn't necessarily mean not in the game. Sometimes the main characters are left and you get them for to add variations to the game...

You might as well guess why I give that argument..

Ok, so there's no need for me to claim right?

Not much going on right now, but I don't know why User is persistent with Culli. Maybe he has some information on him. User, can you please tell us what you have?

I guess it's the same reason I'm still suspicious of him. The way he claimed it, and responded seems to me very weird. Just-so-casual.

I assume it's nothing to do with me. I have had no night time involvement, so to write something in to a report, but give me nothing via PM would be a useless exercise.

And how do we possibly confirm what you say, Maney?

He seeked the little hobbit. The one who had been caught stealing the previous night. Quite surprisingly, he wasn't doing anything notorious today, which made it all the more easier for him to use his god given gift against the young man. The hobbit really didn't stand a chance.

Just to put a bit more light on what JB is trying to say. Someone 'seek-ed' the hobbit. He was trying to steal something last night.

He walked briskly with his staff in one hand. He wanted to meet the most mischievous hobbit among those in Minas Tirith, as he felt that the fool was up to something. And as soon as he reached his destination his suspicions were confirmed. The young lad was attempting to steal from a close friend of his. The wizard gave a stern telling off to the hobbit, and went back to his room.

This. So, what happened here?

Also, 'god given gift' might actually mean the transfer of cult power to someone else. He recruited Ben, maybe. Didn't stand a chance might mean, he had to accept it? I actually feel this is a real possibility. Who's the close friend of Boromir btw?
