SG Test ball used in India;

To install;

1. Extract the .zip to 'Documents\my games\Don Bradman Cricket 14\textures\textures\balls'

2. In the Academy, go to the Match Type Designer and on the desired match type change the 'Ball Sponsor' to 'Cavalier'.

NOTE - Unfortunately we can only have two ball sponsors in the game at the moment, named Vector (vector_col.dds) and Cavalier (cavalier_col.dds) so this may overwrite a previous ball sponsor you have downloaded.

I must apologize Madman, but I may have included your Sloth ball in one of my old badge packs. I've made sure new releases don't contain it, but as the packs were simply my modded textures folder, I may have included it as part of one by accident.

Edit: On further inspection I can't find it in any of the previous releases.

Here is the half white training ball that @T.J.Hooker showed an interest in;

Ok I have no idea how I'm supposed to get this into the game.

I followed the tutorial thread - extracted the DBC textures folder to another location, copied the extracted file structure to C/ ... my games/Don Bradman Cricket 14, and then copied the vector file over (then I cloned it for cavalier too just to make sure).

And now what? How is DBC supposed to find the textures in this folder in My Documents?

So I thought maybe I was supposed to zip the extracted stuff back up again with the copied files and replace the textures zip in the DBC steam folder, but that didn't seem to work either.

I'm missing something, clearly.

just copy the vector_col.dds file inside the zip into
Documents\my games\Don Bradman Cricket 14\textures\textures\balls

then in DBC academy go to match type designer in that choose vector as ball sponsor for tests or whatever match type you want to see this ball.

Nope, didn't work as far as I can tell. Could my steam folder being on a different drive from my C folder make a difference?

I copied the new vector to both balls, checked the test setting in academy had either vector or cavalier sponsor, started a casual test.

No change to the ball.

Perhaps a screenshot of the My Games/Don Bradman Cricket 14 folder tree might help figure out what's going on.

Ok, I'm an idiot. I generated an extra level in the textures folder. Working now.

Is there some code built into the game that looks for textures in your C drive? I can't quite work that bit out.
