Manchester Cricket Cup

Are there any rules to how we should use the squad? Does every player have to play a match, or can we stick to the same XI every game? Are they any fatigue values or anything?

Well you can arrange it however you like, for the most part you would be able to have the same XI, but there will be some random team selection challenges along the way. I won't go into more detail yet because it would ruin the surprise, but you will probably end up playing all your players. But look through PCPL results and you'll find that the middle portion of the team rarely was used, so being completely even isn't necessary.

20/20 PRO, if shalin_hitter ends up winning the bid for Sydney then you can take over his team.

Hi mate, I haven't got time to do the stats thing, could you possibly do it for me? I have to go for an Interview soon.

There isn't much of a rush to get it in, I'd prefer everyone did their own, but if you really don't have much time I wrote up one to test what the defaults should be so you could use that.

I've givee in my team. Can we take points from one attribute and assign them to another? Like 15/25 for a bowler, can we take 10 away from batting and make it 5/15, or take 10 from bowling to make it 25/35? Or can we not deduct from the base?

I'll say yes, but only within the same player and to a limit of 10 points. If anyone wants to adjust their squad to take advantage of this they can.

Can you please explain me how to distribute stats .Can you show me one example.I didnt get the stats thingy
Say you decide someone is a bowler, they start off with averages of 15 for batting and 25 for bowling. You use your points to lower the bowling average or raise the batting average, for example it would use 15 points to make it 15 for batting and 10 for bowling.

Do that for each player up to a max of 200.

I won't be changing my squad. I wanted to take advantage of using an AR's 40/35 spilt to make it 6/1, but a limit of ten restricts that :p You can't use it on a batsman or keeper, not much help on an allrounder, and for a bowler it will just get their average down to 15. But I like my bowlers to bat, so I'll keep to my same squad.

I haven't got time for stats either as i'm busy for the next week and i've got school next week.

I'd thought it would be more about getting a bowler and adding tonnes to the bowling points to make a super batter.

The stats are quite important in getting each team to have more than luck resulting in the wins. I'd really want all people to do stats.
