I might be a loyal bitter, but I'm also a bitter who needs to pay salaries to my team, though I might throw in 2k of my own money to help Simbazz's bid beat Dean's, provided no one else is going to bid.

It would be great exposure, and it could be yours, if the price is right!

(in other words to get an opposition PCPL team's logo on my team you will have to do a lot better than 31k).

Just 5 days left to get your bids in to be the major sponsor for the Monkeys. The current bid is at 31k, and I'm announcing now that the winning bidder has the right to buy the back of shirt advertising spot for 10k, if you decline it will go to auction.

Manchester Welcomes New Stadium
The Manchester Monkeys PCPLCC has announced the completion of its state of the art home ground. Formerly a football ground, 'Monkey Park', the working title for the ground, has been refurbished and had the necessary changes to make it cricketable.

Manchester Monkeys owner Whitehornmatt welcomed the completion:

Football isn't cricket, cricket is cricket, and with a cricket stadium the best cricket is cricketed. I look forward to a cricketing display of cricket when the first match of cricket is started at this cricket ground.

I've been told that repeating the word cricket a lot is a good tactic for increasing cricket's cricketing interest.

When asked about the name, he had this to say:

Well there is a distinct lack of cricket in the title of the cricket ground. Monkey Cricket Park for Cricket or Cricket's Manchester Monkeys Cricket Club Cricket Venue have been suggested as possible more cricket sounding names. CMMCCCV is a great number, and acronym.

Many cricket fans have been confused at the choice of a football ground to be a cricket venue, pointing out that an old cricket ground a few kilometres away would have made a much better foundation, director of cricket ground shapes for the MFCCCCC, Roundo Square said:

It's just not cricket.

When asked for a response, owner Whitehornmatt said

If I call it cricket, it is cricket, now pass me that football, I want to have a bowl.

Well I'm happy to take your money. You have until 11:59:59pm AEST today to pay 31k to me. As I mentioned earlier the back of shirt spot is available for 10k extra, this option is also only available before that time. Should you pay you have a week to send me an image. Should you not pay, it defaults to the next highest bidder, who will then have a week to pay.
