Pakistan team has landed in Chandigarh. "It's war without the shooting"
I don't care who wins the match but I strongly believe that the match should have been in a neutral country. Why in India when India is one of the semi-finalist? This definitely is gonna be in favor of India. This is so unfair. I can't think of one solid and fair reason for this happening. And then Final in India as well. Wow. Amazing decisions and venue finalized by the ICC president.
Somebody said that India got strong opponents compared to Pakistan and still won most of their match.Come on guys, talk sensibly, they played all their matches in India, they know their pitches very well, who will win if they won't. The same technique applies for the semi final. They know the pitch. If they win, this would be an unfair win. PRE-PLANNED WIN!
Well India pretty much runs the ICC.
Just Deal with it!!!
So if South Africa is hosting a World Cup and they happen to meet Pakistan in the semis, they should flow out to England and play the semis right for it to be in a neutral venue.

Do you have any idea what being a host nation means?
----------
It would be the stupidest move in the world to shift a semi-final involving India out of India
If Pakistan hadn't lost their hosting rights, maybe they could make a claim, but no one would listen anyway because this game is the absolute perfect money making scenario and besides, if you want to be the best, beat the best on their home turf.
Don't talk crap! Do you know what is meant by hosting a world cup?
By this, what you mean to say is the hosting country should not play any game in the world cup, which is meaningless crap. Go, understand something before barking some stuff!
I know what a "host nation" means, but I think my point is still unclear to many.
What I am talking about is called strategic planning. The plan should have been strategic. They should have thought about this scenario before finalizing the venue. What if Pakistan and India meet in semifinal, or final, it would be fair enough to have the matches in neutral ground.
Of coarse that would be the stupidest move and who is saying to change the venue now.
I don't want to indulge in discussion with you. I am here for positive discussion and if I am proved wrong, I will happily accept that. I am not proving anyone wrong neither want to indulge in IND/PAK discussions. If the semi-final was held in SL, BAN, or even PAK (if it was one of the host nations),my reaction would have been the same.
I would say go and learn some manners before talking to someone. Looking at your above post, it's clear who is barking and who is talking.
All games involving India are to be played in India.. it was set in stone before the WC even started. Playing their games anywhere else is just burning money and would ████ off the Indians who have hosted a great WC.
So when could they have changed the venue? The teams were only decided 2 days ago
Funny.. I don't remember you throwing a hissy fit when Australia and India's QF was played in... India!
gets a 7-fer in the game
Yes, I agree with the money part.
How come they didn't know that India and Pakistan might be in the semi final? They should have thought about this earlier.
I just registered today. I MIGHT have said that , but I guess you don't see the difference between IND vs AUS match and IND vs PAK match. Is the audience going to react the same? At least I don't think so. We all know the history and history does repeat itself.
+1.Is this the first time in World Sport that a side has home advantage in a World Cup. Every World Cup will have home advantage of the host nation. Are you out of your mind?
So what do you want to suggest, if Australia reach the finals of a World Cup which is being hosted by Australia, the final should be shifted to Lahore just because it gives the Aussies home advantage.
Do you even know what `hosting` an event means? England won the FIFA WC in 1966 as a host nation. They did`nt just shift the final against Germany out of the Wembley because England had home advantage. It has nothing to do with money or anything.
If a nation is hosting a WC of any sport and reaches the knockouts, they are bound to be playing at home. Thats a lame argument that you are making. Sport cannot have separate rules for Pakistan and for other teams. If you are part of a World Cup, you have to play in the host nation against the host nation if the need arise. You cannot devise strategies for a particular fixture.
You are making it sound as if India are playing the semi final of a WC hosted by Australia in Mohali. BTW, Sri Lanka will be playing their Q/Fs and semis at home as well. So lets just shift that out of SL!
