Mar 30 - Pakistan v India (Semi-Final 2)

But then again, NZ have been the only team to score more than 250 against Pak's bowling, and only SL is the other to score more than 200 against them.

Sri Lanka scored 266 against them.

I don't care who wins the match but I strongly believe that the match should have been in a neutral country. Why in India when India is one of the semi-finalist? This definitely is gonna be in favor of India. This is so unfair. I can't think of one solid and fair reason for this happening. And then Final in India as well. Wow. Amazing decisions and venue finalized by the ICC president.

Somebody said that India got strong opponents compared to Pakistan and still won most of their match.Come on guys, talk sensibly, they played all their matches in India, they know their pitches very well, who will win if they won't. The same technique applies for the semi final. They know the pitch. If they win, this would be an unfair win. PRE-PLANNED WIN!

As someone who's followed Pak cricket for years, I know just how big this game is going to be. Even as a neutral, I can't wait for it! :D

The atmosphere between these two teams in a match is the most intense I've ever seen in an ODI.

Shoaib vs Sachin
Gul vs Yuvraj
Zaheer vs Younis
Afridi vs himself

These are the contests that will decide the game.

What about Munaf vs Mediocrity?

No War

Pakistan vs India
Its always been a war in stadium instead of JUST A GAME

Well most of my Pakistani friends seem to be obsessed with India's Cricket fortunes. They seem to have a point to prove.

India is one of the Top Test Teams and we have the IPL and we contribute the most Money to ICC. We don't need to prove anything to anybody.

Losing one game to Pakistan won't won't make us cry.

Law of averages doesn't work because there have been a few changes to both teams since 1975.

Now, onto the serious stuff...I don't think Pakistan can win this one unless they bat first and then put pressure on India under lights on a skiddy pitch with a few early wickets.
Pakistan's bowling is not quite strong enough to trouble this batting lineup unless there is some help from the pitch.
Dropped catches will cost them the game in this one, so they must catch everything.

No the 'Law' of Averages doesn't exist. It's not a law.

There is a 'Law of Large Numbers', but there is no 'Law of Averages'. Just because a population mean is a particular number doesn't mean any individual instance has to reflect that particular number. The Law of Averages is hokey, and poor science.

BanglaDesh Fans

Easy boys, whats up with this talk of revenge eh! Revenge is when India thrash BD outta its nappies onto the streets. We talk about that cause we know that we gonna win convincingly.

Well the BanglaDesh Fans won't be affected too much by the thrashing that the Indian team gave the Bangladesh team.

They will just put on their Pakistan Tshirts, paint the Pakistan flag on their faces and pretend that they are someone else.

Well like they say "Fake it until you make it".

Well India pretty much runs the ICC.

Just Deal with it!!!

If it makes you feel any better, no host nation has ever won the World Cup.

That's what I meant "Amazing venue finalized by the ICC president." Isn't he an Indian.

So you basically meant that India has always been unfair to everyone if they contribute more or run the organization? ha ha ha I hope they don't get a seat in UN then. What a show that would be.

I am already feeling good. I Was totally neutral, and I am not wishing for India's defeat. And anyone thinking neutrally would say the same. As I said earlier I don't care who wins. May the best team prevail. India is best among both the teams, but it would have been a better test of both team's abilities if it was held at some neutral ground. With definite advantages over Pakistan, (besides the team strengths) the match would be a little faltering for a sensible person. India's crowd, India's pitch and India's win. Makes sense to me.
