Asia Cup game. Aamir and Akhtar bowling to Sehwag and Tendulkar. Brilliant display of fast bowling.

Yet we won that match and the Cup. India's batting is too good now. Honestly if Australia could not rustle us (whose pace attack i rate higher than Pakistan's), I see no reason why Pakistan's fast bowling would niggle us.

that black stone is used for increasing pace of ball.... when its pitched on that spot, ball comes 2x faster than normal speed... I read so in newspaper....

don't know why they are practicing on this... If they get slow pitch than there will be no meaning of this particular practice....

funny thing is Z khan is bowling faster. he is clocking 135-138ks. good old vassy use to clock 135 but last year he was bowling at 120.

then what so funny if he is bowling faster ? That's good sign, it ensures that he's much fit as compared to SA tour. He even clocked 142-143 kph

I am very surprized with Pakistan's practise so far, I guess they are over practising without forming a strategy which is almost useless. Practising using a marble piece is useless in india since you will never get extra bounce espacially when groundsman has already said that pitch will be flat. On flat tracks Pakistan just need to bat in thier normal style becuase thier batting lineup has perfect technique for flat subcontinent tracks, its English and African green tops which test thier skills.

Aamir in this Pakistan lineup would have made this team perfect but too bad that he sell himself for some pounds.

I would like to ask the Mohali - Chandigarh cricket fans who see this forum to be welcoming to Pakistan players and fans like they were to us in 2004.
If they get a chance they should get to know people from Pakistan. The common man in Pakistan is quite warm and social.

@ S2sschan - I agree with you completely fans in Mohali who are on this forum or not should be welcoming Pakistan team whole heartedly. I know ████ has happened between the 2 countries but now its time to forget it and make cricket reach its best stage.


The outcome of match should not become crucial and its not easy but take a India loss with good sportsman spirit

I think it shows his method. He bowls within his limits for control, but has extra pace up his sleeve as a weapon.

I hope it will be a good game where emotions are kept in check. Players and fans should not try to manipulate emotions just because the intensity of rivalry between the teams in recent years has not been as high voltage.
