It's only breaking news heard through the mouth of the commentator so there's no news source yet.

Finally. Probably jumped before he was pushed, he could not go on like he was - each game likely to be his last.

It's a shame. He was the best thing to happen to Spurs in a few years and did a great job taking them to the brink of the top four. He couldn't perform under all that pressure wondering when he would finally be sacked so you're right, Manee. He jumped before he was pushed.

The way Martin Jol was treated this season was awful by the press, the club and the fans. Jol was the best thing to have happened to Tottenham for a long time, and he would have still done great things if he had stayed there.

I think Tottenham will now slip down into being mid table underachievers.

He always had the backing of the fans but the board's axe was falling quickly

Ramos will probably replace him now.

Ramos will probably replace him now.

According to the BBC Sport website he will but not until the start of next season. Looks like they have written this campaign off already then.

I thought Jol had some potential to improve things at Spurs,I especially liked his policy to get young talented English players.Sad to see him go but this season has been a stinker for him I guess.

Apparently he was sacked according to Sky Sports News.
Ramos will get the job. Second fave mark Hughes has ruled himself out.
