IPL Lalit Modi sacked

Just found out that the BCCI officials, besides appointing Chirayu Amin as the IPL chief, have also formed a special committee consisting of Sunil Gavaskar, MAK Pataudi and Ravi Shastri to oversee a transparent functioning of IPL 4.

Shastri, Gavaskar and Pataudi get onus of IPL 4

Great decision! I won't be wrong if I now say that the IPL is back on the right track.

Modi not out yet, according to this twitter, said "it has just begun" and he's still the chairman xD

Had a restful day. Been in the spa all day. Much needed rest.

That, my friends, is how how play the game xD :laugh:laugh

Modi cant txt. Thats not even his twitter. Even it was, i bet it took him all day to post that. And that when he had that "much needed rest"

But nobody actually did it.
Many things, like cheerleaders and on-field interviews, weren't even new to cricket with IPL. A lot of these supposed innovations are only considered as such because the league thrusts itself into more faces than ever before. The chief innovation at work is just that; broadcasting to more people through more media. Once that happens, people come to expect that anything they see in IPL is new and innovative; this is observer bias.
