IPL 10 Teams to Play in IPL 2011

Raina,Kaif,RP Singh,Piyush Chawla,Praveen Kumar and more and more.

You think Chennai will trade Raina or Deccan will trade RP Singh? The players who will come into the new teams will be guys who havent been in the IPL or guys who are traded between franchises (the new franchises could have deals with the existing guys asking for some of the players)

Exactly. Cant ever think of losing Raina. He is a superstar for us along with Matthew Hayden and Dhoni.

makes sense, perhaps in future they can get it up to 12 or even 16 and have two leagues running at the same time, winners of each playing the final.

other advantages will be the spreading of talent, two many benched stars right now, they will spread out to other teams. Also franchises may be required not only to get creative with their young players, but also bring in some surprising foreign choices. I would like to see the 4 foreigner rule increased to 5 BUT with a stipulation that the 5th (if he is to be played, teams may choose not to) bust be from a non-test nation.

running throughout the year would never work, it would require players reloacting permanently to india just as players will relocate to england or italy for football. they see this as a natural career path, for cricket it may not appeal quite as much.

It is really intrusting that two more teams are coming in ipl i think in these two teams the player of icl will come as 101 being released so in two 32 players can come it will be the best ipl this time ipl 3

Most probably, Kerala is going to have its own team. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal (from Kerala) has decided to go about floating an IPL team for his state and is going to have discussions with the BCCI about it. And most probably, he will succeed in floating the team.

There wont be teams from other countries. They will float new teams ONLY and have the four foreigner rule in it.

Great, more teams so an even longer tournament for everyone outside of India to get bored of. Twice a year along with Champions League means we'll be celebrating the one week a year when T20 isn't being played soon.

If they have 10 teams, only play each other ONCE for goodness sake please Mr Modi. That way the IPL is more likely to get an international window too, if it lasts only one month instead of two. Oh and let more internationals play in the XI too. If you want to capture the world's imagination and bar international cricket while the IPL is on, let some of their players play please.
