Presentation Ceremony at Cape Town
September 25, 2011

A magnificent event of cricket in South Africa ended with a amazing and beautiful Presentation party. All the cricketers, coaches and support staff were present in the ceremony who contributed significantly to the progress of their respective teams. Similar to the first two seasons, this season too proved a great success attracting a huge amount of interest from the members. Nairobi Nomads received the title team of the season award for winnings the championship in a thrilling way. In the previous two seasons, we saw that Local players from the Minor Countries dominated the Award taking. But, not this time. Overseas players finally proved their worth by putting up some sensational action. Various awards for various records were given to the players which will be remembered as the glory of that player.

Best Batsman Award

Australian Opening Wicketkeeper-Batsmen, Brad Haddin topped the run-chart with some terrific performances when his team was about to end. He scored 474 runs in 10 innings with an average of 52.7 which included 5 half-centuries. Lamentably in-spite of playing impressively with courage Haddin missed out on a century in Grand Final which would have been a memorable century ever.

Best Bowler Award

An exponent of extreme speed Australian bowler, Brett Lee received Best Bowler Award. He took 19 wickets in 6 innings with an deadly average of 18.7. His economy rate is 4.2 and Best Bowling figures are 3/23 against Dublin Destroyers. Also Haddin and Lee were in the same team so we could imagine what their team's strength was.

Best Individual Batting Score

An accumulator who is virtually impossible to distract at the crease, Michael Hussey scored highest batting score in the season. His highest score of 107 off 112 balls which included 12 fours and a couple of sixes came against Nairobi Nomads and in Semi Final game. Unfortunately, his team lost the match.

Best Bowling Figures

A hard-hitting all-rounder of Ireland, Andrew White was awarded for his Best Bowling figures against Kabul. He took 4 wickets in that match and conceded just 23 runs off his 6 overs with an economy rate of 3.83. His tidy off-spin is a useful addition to his repertoire. He was the only Local player who received the award.

"I'm delighted to manage Kabul and lead them to Final but sad of that loss. Firstly, I would like to thank Shagger for signing such good pack of players who always were useful. These awards are a tremendous endorsement for the junior system and development programs " - Haarithan

"All the three seasons have been good for me. Our team has been doing good but we know that's not enough. We need a boost now to grab a title in the upcoming season. My congratulations go out to all the other winners tonight ? these awards are great for the players and it is an honour even to be nominated. - Tarun

I'm delighted to win the title award. Firstly, I would like to thank all the players and members who supported me. I've enjoyed each and every part of this league. Thanks. Let all the managers reply here and then we'll start the next season draft. Also, Fenil and User2010 are no more here. So, I'll need 2 new managers. :(
