I'm no expert but I used fraps. The free version doesn't offer you much choice, everything is a bmp image I got round this by resizing (1920x1200 isn't really web-friendly) and then converting to jpeg. Some quality is lost, but I think the screenshots I've uploaded are more than reasonable
