Hmmm..The bodies are smooth but I notice you can't do the hair properly,try these settings while smudging the hair
Lighten-Opacity 100
Darken-Opacity 70
Also use the Defringe option.

OK, so you mean I should copy the original layer twice and set it to above settings, and then work on the hair part in original layer?
