Minor Counties Championship Teams in Development

Really looking forward to this as where I live im blessed with being able to visit 3 teams, Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire! Keep going it's great

Thanks for that @bobgofaster197 - I was wondering which teams to do next - you have helped me decide!

Just uploaded Shropshire first and T20 kits. Not happy with logos particularly as couldn’t get the sponsors colour exactly right and the crest I couldn’t get to colour at all for some reason which is frustrating so it’s just in black I’m afraid instead of gold. You’ll see the result anyway which as the kit has black piping anyway on the first XI kit looks ok but not an exact replica. I’ve had so molar issues with a couple of other kits. I’ve shared the logo so if anyone fancies a crack at getting it in colour then go for it please and I’ll amend my kits if you share any updated logo. Thanks. Stephen

Thanks you this, before your link I hadn't previously read up on the history of the minor counties, interesting read.

Slight tinge of sadness that their involvement with the major counties seems to be extremely limited these days.

Staffordshire CCC now uploaded. Could not find any real evidence of a T20 senior side - other than playing a couple of friendly games. Apparently there will be a T20 competition and team this year. Anyone knowing what kit they will where please contact me and I’ll make it. Thanks Stephen

Cheshire ccc now uploaded. Again no T20 since 2015 until later this year is believe so no T20 kit. You may notice the players names aren’t real. I haven’t time to add correct squads at the moment. May add them later once all kits are done. Maybe one of you may want to do that side of things? Feel free. Hope to get more teams done really soon.

Bedfordshire CCC now uploaded. No T20 team at present so no kit. No sponsor on MCCA kit as sadly the firm sponsoring them until recently went bust it appears and to my knowledge no current sponsor exists that I can find. Any Bedfordshire supporters who know differently let me know and I’ll update the kit. Many thanks to adamjh1977 and Snaggybelle77 for the Bedfordshire logo which I have to say is much better then the one I had produced so I’ve used it! Cheers.

Interestingly enough a few years ago Michael Vaughan suggested changing the English T20 competition to be similar to the FA Cup like in football and have the Minor Counties compete along within the 18 county sides.

I remember reading that and thinking it was a brilliant idea. Have the clubs around the country, then minor counties then counties. Creates a link between top and bottom

Hi. Just to let you know there may be delay in uploading any created teams tonight as my internet has gone off so can’t do anything on the creation academy at the moment. Thinking of creating Berkshire CCC next. By the way does anyone know why some logos that I have created won’t let me recolour them when I try to edit them? Thanks. Stephen

Berkshire CCC uploaded to add to the Minor Counties uploads using the template provided by Snaggybelle77. Also created and uploaded Durham University and re-uploaded Cambridge and Oxford Uni incorporating the MCC Universities logo that @wasteyouryouth did fantastically well for me this afternoon. In addition to Cambridge Oxford and Durham that I have already uploaded I intend to create the remaining MCC backed University sides of Cardiff Leeds and Loughborough too. Will upload these as and when they are ready.

Hi. Just to let you know I have re-shared updated versions of Staffordshire Cheshire Berkshire with Shropshire and Northumberland to come using County logos recreated for me by @wasteyouryouth - I hope you agree with me that they look much better than my original efforts! Also I have uploaded a 1980’s MCC touring kit and team under MCC tour side (1980’s) which I hope you enjoy. I have had a go at creating Gladstone Small and Alan Lamb as players too. More minor Counties and university teams to be uploaded over the weekend hopefully too now my internet has been restored. Thanks!

I think you've may have linked some of your players to players of international teams.
