Nah they dont its just a kinda new team... its gonna take some time to rise again...

Its been 15 years since we down... how many more years those the west indies need? the board shud alll be fired n then hire past players to coach the team

I think its Steyn because he has continued to improve and fitness has been good as well while Asif's performances have taken a downward slope after a brilliant entry to international cricket. Steyn also produces more number of good balls, which means in the long run, he will get more wickets.

Kevin Pietersen destroyed Dale Steyn on a flat wicket and in a first test match of a series in which Steyn like the others was undercooked and rusty.

if he wasn't on drugs id say Asif, but I just cant vote for a guy who has cheated to improve his performance. The way he moved the ball of the seam was far better than anyone I have seen for a while and he was so accurate and in helpful conditions he could swing it too but that all goes down the drain.

Guys above me keep it on topic.

I put my head down, close my eyes, shake my head, then I say Dale Steyn.

Even without considering the drugs incident, I think Dale Steyn is the better player. As far as stats are concerned you can always use their to your favour. Steyn is not just better than Asif, but is the best fast bowler in the world who is just getting better and better.

never.

Asif would have got better, if he would have acted like a good sportsman.

I think that most of us can agree that Asif is better but because he took drugs it puts him lower than Steyn plain and simple

On pure bowling ability I'd say Asif is slightly ahead of Steyn, but overall I can't go past Steyn thanks to the controversies and injuries Asif has suffered.

I am afraid but I never thought Asif would last long. His fitness is pretty poor and hence keeps getting injured. Steyn is the better athlete and as someone mentioned he is going to get better.

if Asif had not started taking illegal drugs, it would have been a close call.

But Steyn has great pace.
