Most Predictable World Cup Ever?

well you will see almost 12 1 sided matches in the super 8 stage

bangladesh and ireland will be beaten comprehensively by most teams in the super 8 stage

Yes this is the most predictable World Cup ever. We all predicted Gibbs hitting six sixes in and over. We all predicted Ireland's tie with Zimbabwe. We all predicted Ireland beating Pakistan. We all predicted Bangladesh beating India. We all predicted Pakistan going out in the first round.

Wait.... no we didn't!

This isn't the most boring World Cup, it isn't the most predictable World Cup, it's the most exciting and, in my opinion, best World Cup ever.
we all knew it was going to happen,
but just didnt know if it was going to be gibbs

im still waiting for saeed anwars 194 to be beaten this world cup

and about the pitches.....well those are exactly the kind of pitches which produce good competition between bat and ball. What's the point in seeing bowlers getting hammered on a flat highway again and again?

India vs Pakistan >> Australia vs South Africa
True that. ;)

This is definitely not the most predictable world cup; in fact it is the most unpredictable. Maybe you got to the word wrong in the thread title.

Every world cup has a story this one will also but it will be remembered by the bad things that happened not the good things lets hope we can change that

Most predictable World Cup ever?!?!...... Hardly ..... have you been watching any of the games in Groups B & D gambino?? IMO it's the best start to a World Cup yet... but maybe ... just maybe.. I'm biased since I'm irish ;)

If it's so precitable then who will be in the final??

I feel there's a lot more twists and turns to come yet.....

I also think you need to give the associates/weaker teams credit. There's a lot of talent in those teams that could give the big guys a run for their money (and even take their money) on their day. Also, with the weather looking as it has during the tournament, messieurs Duckworth and Lewis could definitely make it even more unpredictable.

Gambino is right. We all predicted Gibbs' sixes, Ireland's success, Pakistan's dismay and Bangladesh beating India didn't we? I even had a sneaky feeling that Inzamam would give up his captaincy and of course, we predicted that Bob Woolmer (may he rest in piece) would be tragically taken away from us.

Or was all that just me?

i predicted the irish win and the bangladesh win but not the rest :(

this is the worse world cup for me there nothing left of it.

is more like the boring and the saddest world cup ever

just bcoz pakistan is out of it doesnt mean it's boring

Australia Vs South Africa will be the best in Group matches

I watch them all the games and I don't relly care about the world cup now

because i know it might be south africa or austraila

This will be one of the best WC in my opinion. With maybe a few minnows going through and teams not performing to their full potential we could see some interesting Super 8 games.

You must be watching a different tournament mate
